Im new but like the kranger protanks 1 2 and mini
Hi KjAthena...

Protanks aren't carto tanks Kj... but there are some similarities. A Protanks is, what I like to call, a "fancy clearomizer"... a disassembleable, glass tank that uses a coil-head type atomizer.

A "carto tank" is a a disassembleable tank, usually made with a glass or a (citrus juice proof) polypropylene tube, like a Protank at this point, but the big difference is into that tank is inserted a disposable cartomizer.
Cartomizers for use in tanks will have holes in them so that the juice can transfer from the tank to the cartomizer. When the "carto" is worn out after a week or so, you pull it, toss it, and insert a new one. They only cost about $1.10 each and up.

If you go to Baditude's blog page, he's written a good deal on carto tanks, their use, how to prime them and all the variations. I'd suggest you take a look... then go out and get yourself a carto tank, because the flavor is surpassed only by RDAs... without all the "user involvement" associated RDAs. ;-)

Do you know where I can buy Cirrus Vapes Tanks online?
I'm not sure that you can, at least not directly. In the past, they did not take orders directly online, but could be purchased locally (California) from several vapor shops.

There used to be a distributor or participating vendor list on the website, but that appears to be down presently. You can try to email them but I had done this myself a long time ago inquiring the same as you and did not get a "prompt" or adequate response. Contact Us - Cirrus Vapes

It's a shame it's this way. These are beautiful tanks and have gotten nothing but top reviews, but for whatever reasons they are not available from the website and unless you are local to them availability to others is extremely difficult. My guess is that they are a low volume manufacturer and possibly feel they would not be able to keep up with the high volume demand of an online vendorship.

Do you know where I can buy Cirrus Vapes Tanks online?

Check the classified listings. I was able to get a used Cirrus that way a few months ago. Very nice tank -- looks great on almost anything. Also well built.

As Baditude points out, Cirrus seems determined to make it hard to buy their items unless you're in CA. I've had the most luck contacting them via their FB page, but even then their response is not speedy.

[h=2]I have two Phiniac Glass Tanks for my ego-c and love them but wanted to get another glass tank from a different designer for more variety. What other unique glass tanks are out there?[/h]

Check out Valley View Vapes (Welcome to Valley View Vapes - Your Home for Quality Inexpensive Tanks and Vaping Supplies). Very sturdy tanks, and their Sidewinder ones have a fill hole that makes it very easy to fill (hole is large enough for most bottle tips).

The downside is that they would look rather top-heavy on an Ego.

I think theres no shortage of tank options (glass included). it seems hard to stay atop new products the vendors bring in.
However..for covering both ends of the spectrum; from virtually unbreakable to dainty/beautiful and extremely fragile, the mom and Pop shop aat Phiniac is a great place! Have you seen the new Kir Fanis clone? Im often torn between the affordable mass suppliers and the costs to support US manufactured or hand crafted quality goods. Arent you?
