Hi Paula, Thanks for asking...

I was really hoping I'd get a call about it... (I lost my wallet one time, several yr's ago, . I was fishing along the Charles river, and I must have dropped it...Later on, I was making dinner, and I got a call from a guy who found it, along the River Walk path. He returned it, and it still had the $7.52 and everything!)...

No call this time. Oddly, I keep checking my purse, all OCD like, as if it might somehow*magically* appear in there. I try to avoid thinking about it. It's gone. I know that. There are worse things that happen to people, but as Christmas grows closer, I keep wanting to run out for those little last minute touches, for my Daughter, an I can't. It's making me a little crabby and depressed, even though I try to accept misfortune gracefully lol!

I did call the store I got groceries at, just in case it wasn't a Subway Snatch, but it wasn't there. There's nothing I can do though, so I just want to enjoy Christmas just the same. Every once in while, I'll feel angry and stressed but I'm working through it. Posting here to cheer up others helps some too...

Your kindness and friendship, has been tremendously appreciated, that's for sure.

Sorry to hear about your wallet. When I was little I went down to atlantic city with my friends family for the day. When we got home that night I realized that my little single fold wallet with my money and my swimclub membership card in it were missing from my pocket. A couple weeks later I went to my swim club (I was there EVERY DAY during the summer) and when I carded in (with my replacement card) they said to hold on...they have something of mine. They handed me my little blue holder with my swim club card and the 40 dollars that had gone missing. I was just shocked that there are people that can find something (especially cash) and send it to my swim club with the address on the card that was in there. It totally shocked me. I hope your wallet comes back to you....there actually are honest people in the world. :)
