An ECF friend just PIF a Reo Grand to me a few days ago. (Thank you, the gift is much appreciated!)
I don't yet have a bottom-feeding atomizer for it, and will be doing some research here and on YouTube for some inexpensive ideas.
Great! I don't have mine yet but I got two of the bottom feeder reomizers off the reosmods webpage. Plus extra springs, juice bottle repair kit and a couple doir magnets just incase :)

I've looked at the Reomizers on Reomods, but I can't afford nearly $50 for an rda. I'll be looking for clones. I recently got a Tobecco Velocity clone for my Silver Bullet or RX200 that I like, which I got for around $17. I see Tobecco offers a Velocity clone with a bottom feeding pin which might be an option for me in the future.

Aromamizer has a couple of nice RDAs that already come with a bottom feed pin. And at Ecig Avenue, you could get the V-RDA for $19.99 with the code CLEARANCEDEAL

Yes they are expensive but for the rest of my lifetime I have been going for it LOL! I was lamenting I will probably spend $2000 total on stocking up, but when I compared that to all my years of smoking costs, drop in the bucket! So I went for it :)

The Malstorm by Lost Vape is tough to find at the moment but well worth the wait.

This is a 15 dollar authentic better made then stuff I have costing many times more.

Its bottom feed out of the box.

Thanks for the tip on the batteries.

I just got a new Low Profile REO Grand and having a bit of a problem with the Adjustable Center Post. The instructions say turn the little allen screw counterclockwise to raise it, but I have found that it's the opposite, I have to turn the allen screw clockwise to raise it. So am I losing my mind or are the instructions backwards?

It's the exact opposite of what you normally expect from a screw: right to raise, left to lower.

I agree. Just got one in from Origin Vape, OOS now tho.
Good deal for about $17 shipped.
    Reminds me of the Stumpy.

Has anyone used a short stop in Reo? I want to use something if the kick doesn't fit. The short stops are pretty thin.

Really don't need or want a shot stop. Should you manage to do a bad (you hoople you) and dead short a Reo the hot spring at the battery negative is your protection. The spring will pancake and break the connection in less than a split second.

So no one uses a short stop and just relies on the hot spring ?

The redundancy of the hot spring combined with a short stop can cause more problems than it fixes or prevents. Short stops can add resistance, and in a box like a Reo they are harder to keep in place. If it's the SS type that uses a magnet to hold it in place - absolutely not.

The best thing to do if using an RBA on a Reo is always check your coil builds - with the RBA cap in place - on a dedicated coil meter or on a PV that checks ohms before you put it on the Reo. That's the way to both check that you have the coil build you are looking for and that it isn't shorted - which are always good ideas and will save you from needlessly collapsing a spring.

Of course if you want a VW option - just because you want it - then by all means try a kick in a Reo. There is some fiddling required, and the "how to's" are covered in the Reo archive.
