Tribble--Well, truthfully, I stopped following the Safe Cig thread because it got way too nasty for me.

I thought the guy was dead wrong, and I thought his actions might have some pretty nasty consequences for the rest of us. However, the anger and ugliness directed at him by some posters was just too much for me. It got way too personal.

It's one thing to disagree with (and even attack) someone's ideas and views. It's quite another to attack someone personally . . . and it was turning into a blood-fest on that thread.

So did you deserve to get banned? Honestly, I have no idea because I stopped reading that thread. I was not, however, sorry to hear that some posters had been given a temporary holiday (i.e., suspension) because things were simply getting out of control. Sometimes people need to step back to get some perspective, and a suspension can do that if the person isn't willing to do it on his/her own.

I think we sometimes forget that there are real people behind these screen names.

You're probably right about that one. Anyone who is interesting wasn't very welcome over there.

you weren't baned because you where interesting. matter of fact you weren't baned at all (at first anyway) you resorted to name calling and flat out angry useless posts. you where suspended as was the other party involved. I took up for you and the other guy thinking a seven day suspension was too much and you would cool down before then but your last post was definitely a spoiled sport one and proved me wrong. I didn't come here to argue with you though. I don't care actually. I was just seeing if there was a thread about the other forum here.

I will admit that my very last post over there, (under a new login) was a little nasty. I let that Mavkain dude get under my skin. As far as all of the other posts over there, I never once got nasty or called anyone names. I certainly don't remeber anyone over there sticking up for me, though. Certainly not you, Green Lantern. The only thing I remember you saying about it was parroting whatever Mavkain said. That is just kinda boring to me, that's all. Ecigforum.com (IMO) was boring a place. If everyone wants to flame me now for my opinion, go right ahead.

I guess I wasn't the only one to notice the irony in that statement.

I found that site to be a better source of info, it was not as cluttered as this site - 1000 different posts on basically the same thing. There were a good group of people on that site, I'm going to miss it.

This will be my last comment on this subject and I will let it die. What I was referring to is after you where suspended I told the mod I thought a seven day suspension was too harsh IMO and I thought you should be aloud to post sooner than that. I thought every one would have a cooler head by then. After that he said he changed it to a three day suspension. That is all.

Ok, Great,

Now let's move on to the topic here on this thread....

WTF HAPPENED TO AMERICAN FORUM?? 8-o

I don't know? I do like the v-bulletin style forums better than the other styles but I miss the American. Dis Man, another member, and I where in a pretty good conversation when it just disappeared.

BTW Max Did you get the kiss box yet? If so do you like it?

KISSBOX CLASSIC - JANTY USA

Got it yesterday. Gave the first battery it's 12 hr charge and now I'm vaping for the next 20 min's before letting it charge again for another 4 (as per instructions).

Initial impressions...

1. Janty forgot to include in the kit the USB passthru. I got everything else that's included in the extended kit (See website for more details). Sent Jeff over there an email last night about it and I'm waiting for a reply. Once in stock, took 2 days for it to get to me.

2. When puffing, good amount of vapor. When I inhale into lungs then exhale..hardly anything. That's not good for me. (Using automatic switch for now). I like to see vapor when I exhale (after inhaling into lungs like a real cig). Going to assume that it might have to do with either breaking in the atomizer, breaking in the battery or both. Going to wait till after the batteries are broken in and/or the atomizer before I make my final thoughts on exhaling vapor after inhaling.

3. I'm not crazy about the flat pen tip. I'm used to the regular round tips. I don't know, for me it feels a little to "feminish".

4. No LED at battery end tip. This caught me by surprise. I had no clue. I do like to see the LED Ash turning on and off but I guess I can live without it.

5. It is very well made. Metal casing seems to be of quality material.

6. Yes the carts are huge and can hold alot of juice. I have not dripped yet. I'm taste testing the Ryan carts that came with it that I'm very neutral about the flavor. Not bad, but yet not good. I guess it's an aquired taste.

7. For my taste, it is very big. It is exactly 6 inches long from end to end with all items attached (Cart, atomizer, switch and battery). It is in my opinion to big for me to carry in my pocket and carry it around. The case that came with it helps, but to put it together, vape then take it apart...seems like alot of work for me.

Overall, I can not come up with a conclusion for it at this time. Still waiting for the atomizer and battery to break in.

What I can say is that I can see myself vaping this thing while sitting on a leather sofa seat, in front of a huge fire place while reading a good book or the New York Times, sipping tea on a beautiful snowy day while wearing a very expensive bathrobe or a suit and listening to classical music in the background.........NOT!!!!

That's not my style...I'm a biker!!! I don't have time to sit on my ... infront of a fireplace etc etc...Shoot, I don't even have a fireplace. Anyway, I rather be sitting on my motorcycle on the open road riding from state to state and with the sound of my pipes roaring setting off every car alarm that I pass by  while having a RN4081 styled e-cig hanging from my mouth not having to worry about the wind turning the damn thing off. I'm going to start looking into the cigars as well but need to do the research first.

I'm going to give this thing a benefit of a doubt and wait until the batteries are up to speed and the atomizer broken in to see what happens. It can be a pretty good e-cig to smoke when at home while studying or reading or doing some other type of administrative function at home. It might even come in handy to vape it in areas where you don't really want to bring attention to yourself with a LED light like for example at the airports.

My style is an e-cig that looks like a analog cig (White with orange LED and tip hence my RN4081's and Magnum) and have one to use at home or any other areas where a real looking e-cig might cause me uneccessary attention at places where smoking is not allowed (Restaurants, airports etc for example). Yes yes yes, I am all into educating the public about e-cigs and stuff like that but sometimes when I'm just trying to relax, I don't want to be bothered.

My e-cig collection to date is a s follows:

DSE901 - Black - InLife Prestige
RN4081 - Pure Smoker PeeWee and Smoking Everywhere Gold e-cig.
Longtotem V9 - epuffer Eaze Magnum
PenStyle - Janty USA Kissbox Classic

The Blue Knight - Max

I haven't tried it yet while riding. Do you get a proper hit going 80mph down the freeway? Or is it best to only try it cruizing on country roads? Planning a ride to Anza Borrego this week, not having to stop for a cigarette every 45 minutes will definitively be "different".

I don't think any cigarette analog or e-cig will give you a good hit at 80 MPH.

Honestly, I would not even recommend having any type of smoke while traveling at that speed on the highway. I would rather focus my attention on the road and traffic instead of focusing on whether or not I'm getting a hit. It's not just safe.

However, cruising the backroads at a light and easy 30-40 mph, although I have yet to try it, I'm sure you'll enjoy having a vape and at the same time be the envy of all your riding buddies who can't light up and all you have to do is take the cig out of your pocket and puff away!!!
