What Happened?

Any idea what happened to the server yesterday. Couldn't log on for most of the day as the server was down. Had a panick attack.

I read somewhere where they were upgrading so that we wouldn't keep getting the server busy crap. At least, I hope that's what it all was about.

Yea it is a bit querky sometimes with sigs appearing and disappearing. I even saw a srcolling ebay ad below someones post yesterday advertising shoes but when I refreshed it had gone, unless the mods had removed it. Maybe the forum has been under attack by hackers and they are updating the security! Who knows?

From what I understand the site had a database failure and the outage was not related to an upgrade.
