The ecig has been the simplest and most pain free method I have ever used to quit smoking. As of one hour ago, it has been 1 week for me with no analogs.
This time last week I had my last analog and it tasted horrible (had been gradually reducing them over 2 months and vaping more). It was so horrible I threw it out only half way down and that was that. Been a pain free week.

Today was my biggest test. We go flying RC Helis at our local club every Sunday, and there are quite a few smokers in the club. I was very happy to experience no "want" at all when watching the other guys smoke. This proved to me that I am officially over analogs.

I am starting to suffer shortness of breath in the evenings though. This only started yesterday. Seen elsewhere on the forums that it is normal to go through this for a few days until all the analog chemicals are out the system. Hope so :)

i bought a tobacco-less cigarettes for my friend and he loves it! he says they are actually better than regular cigarettes - he doesn't have a bad taste in his mouth and he doesn't smell like smoke! i bought his from 21 century smoking - they're in Chicago and we got the order so fast! their quit smoking are easy to use, they have so many different cartridges to choose from - lots of cool flavors and different strengths of nicotine. check them out at 21centurysmoking.com

Ive been off real cigs for two weeks now. I have noticed my smell coming back. Stopping with an e-cig has been the easiest thing ever.

When I quit analogs 12 years ago, I gained 50 lbs. On my 5'2" frame, it was almost 50% of my body weight. I asked doc which was worse - smoking or the extra weight. She did not have an answer. I eventually picked up analogs again - lost the weight - but was smoking 2 packs a day.

Found about about e-cigs accidently, and ordered my first about 6 weeks ago.
No weight gain this time!!!!!

Breathing is better (I'm a competitive ballroom dancer), cough is gone, and my car doesn't smell like an ashtray.

Love the fact that I can drop my e-cig and nor worry about catching something on fire.

I still have an analog once in a while when extremely stressed but they taste horrible.

Also noticed my coffee consumption is down a lot. 1-2 vs 8-10 cups a day.

I think it's because I used to alternate between an analog and coffee. With e-cigs, I vape almost continuously so hardly am reaching for the coffee.

My coffee drinking went way down, too. I still have a cup in the morning, and occasionally one later on. Other than that I go for water, juice or soda.
