There are age restrictions for a lot of products and activities- which doesn't mean one is living in a nanny state, even in the free country of the Czech Republic...
My kid smokes {OTHER STUFF}, so lets give all kids wine as it is less dangerous. Problem solved ?
No, MY underage kid smokes {OTHER STUFF} says the neighbor. So he proposes the legalization of {OTHER STUFF} for all as it is less dangerous than {OTHER STUFF}.
{OTHER STUFF}, wine and e-liquids are now sold in the school cafeteria. This has solved both kid's problems. Everyone is, (really), happy and the government is out of our lives.
I bet blowing clouds is popular with teens...
Yes, but I don't think it is PG\VG clouds.....

Sorry you kid is a {MODERATED} but {OTHER STUFF} is less dangerous than wine, you got that one backwards.
The rest is just silly, for instance I said get government (nanny) out of our lives and you put government in charge of distribution of illicit substances and doling them out to the kids at school to illustrate what point?
Looks to me like you did not really read my post or somehow were offended and are just knee jerking something out.
Yes, but teens spend a lot of time on YouTube. Little Johnny wants to be like dirty diaper/dishrag man, goes to a shady B&M and gets set up with a .003 coil and re-wrapped eBay batteries and a cheap mech, and blows half his face off. What will Congress do then?

I am surprised that some here support selling e-cigs to minors on the, (unproven and hotly debated), pretext that nicotine/smoke are more dangerous for teen-smokers than nicotine/e-liquid mix. This proposal is a non-starter for 99.999% of the population and rightly so.
IMO, If your kid is smoking and you propose to solve HIS\HER/YOUR problem by allowing free sale of e-liquid to all, is at best, distorted logic.
Potentially make MY kid a vaper to help YOUR kid get rid of His/Her smoking habit ! Anyone who would propose this to our lawmakers would be laugh out of the discussion.
I also agree that this king of logic feeds the ANTZ. I mean, anyone proposing this only confirms to all concerned that we really need regulations .
Seriously, if your kid is smoking there are many venues available to help him/her without opening this Pandora's box.
Andria, You obviously are well versed in this subject. This worst case scenario does not give credence to allowing free access to e-liquids and e-cig to underage kids. We have to protect ALL our kids against addiction, not incite them by providing easy access.
IMO, much like underage drinking or driving, underage smoking should not be allowed. And it is not.
I see nothing wrong with an Doctor giving a prescription to a teen to use nicotine patches or ecig in a controlled nicotine program to help quit smoking. I also would approve of a parent providing his addicted kid an ecig to get him off smoking. But, it should be in a very controlled manner and with a plan to quit vaping .
