How far can one go with improvements to ecigs?
10watts max it seems and above that it just burns the liquid and tastes lousy. So my 3.7v bat with 1.5ohm atty with direct dripping on the coil is max. I can't puff long on this as it becomes harsh. Go back to 1.5ohm carto again. Direct dripping is stronger than carto. This is 9watts at 2.5amps.
Now people want 6v ???. On a 1.5ohm atty will give you 24watts at 4amps.
There is a reason why Provari and the other mods at 6v have 2.5amp cut off. This is for safety. Put a 1.5ohm atty there and either the circuit will fry or the bat will explode at 4amps. 1.5ohm is almost a dead short.
A VV bat will not work at 4.1v on a 1.5ohm atty. It sees it as a short and switch off. So forget about the higher voltage stuff.
The 9watts at 2.5amps is as good as it gets. That is 3.7v with 1.5ohm or 6v with 2.4ohm. No higher voltage OR no lower ohms on each of the 2 mentioned.
Now how bout an atty with a larger surface area coil. More liquid on more coil will produce more vapour. 1.5ohm at 3.7v and a larger coil area is what is needed. This, I think will be next on the improvement.
