I just started vaping 4 days ago and love it! Haven't smoked an analog since even though I have about 6 packs still in the freezer. I never hated smoking just the health implications.
As a matter of fact I enjoy smoking and the throat hit.:vapor:

I travel a lot to visit customers and have a company vehicle that smoking is not allowed in. E-cig are perfect. I went with the V4L K8 based 2 piece because of simplicity and ease.

Now just 4 days into it I'm already wondering about my next PV. Looking at the EGO tank system and the Darwin from Evolv. I really like the idea of the tank but also really like the look and advanced features of the Darwin. My biggest concern is: I can't have anything leaking in my pocket, on my hands, or in the company vehicle.

Is this normal or do I have a problem?:w00t: How soon after your first PV did you start buying others?

Anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks all,

well you could look into a fat bat style, a VV mod, any mods for that matter, higher voltage ect....theres alot out there lol. i wanted to buy a new one within the first week not so much because i disliked my current one of the time but just so i could try different ones out, i have 3 PVs i use on a daily basis along with my PT and plan on a mod soon the VV mods sound like a killer idea, welcome to ECF and have a great evening!-)

Welcome and congratulations. I started buying right away, and really didn't care for some of the things I bought. That will probably happen with everyone a little bit. I still mainly use my 4081, but I also have a pt and a Volcano Inferno. I use them all, but I like the ease of my normal size two piece. And it justs takes me about 15 seconds to refill my carto. Just go with the easiest thing for work, and if you want to branch out at home, go for it!

Welcome to ECF ! And you are VERY normal !!! The Ego tank system is really new and the Darwin isn't out yet soooooo can't really comment on either of them. Lots of great mods out there to take a look at. Any PV can have some leaking once in a while, but really none of them should create a problem for you. I just make sure that I have paper towel and handwipes handy just in case I might need one once in a blue moon. Enjoy your new hobby!!!! :)

I spent a lot on analogs and part of the reason I got into vaping was to save money. Maybe someday that will happen. For now I'm just trying to not spend more for equipment and juice than I did on analogs. One thing about it, what I spend on equipment leaves me with something I can use. :2cool: What I spent on analogs just got burned up in smoke. In other words if there is something out there you want, it doesn't hurt to give yourself a reward for quitting the analogs. :vapor: That is just my opinion and it has been working for me the last 3 months. Glad you are here and envoy the journey to the smoke free world.:2cool::vapor:

You got yourself into a new hobby, where you get your nicotine fix without killing yourself!
It's a good thing! :)

Figure out how much you were sppending on analogs, cut it in half, and that's how much
you can spend WITHOUT feeling in the least bit guilty.

I have found browsing the vendor websites, filling up "wishlists" without pulling the
trigger and ordering has helped my fixation of the next best mod.
I've spent more on a couple adapters, then 1 or 2 attys, cartos, PT, mega atty, etc....
to experiment with and to make it easier to find what I like in vaoing.

Once you find what YOU like to vape, and what voltage YOU like to vape, and what
type of vaper (dripper, carto, cart fan) YOU are the costs go down, and you can sit
back and enjoy it more.

But it still normal to drool over the latest mod, mega carto mod, wiz-bang wattage VV
controlled w/batteries that last 3 weeks before needing a recharge and holds 10mL juice mod.

Haha - yeah some people buy others pretty soon. I managed to wait 30 days before buying others. I think you need to try at least one to figure out what you think you like and want.

I was really curious. My PV worked fine for me but I was just super-curious about the other popular minis and mini attys. I can charge batteries easily and I'm not looking for a huge hit so I am fine with minis. I was just curious. And I found one other setup I like and now I use 2 PVs.

I lasted one week before I bought an eGo passthrough (or two). Then two Riva kits, then another PT. Then won a vGo. My poor little Joye510's that I started with are just sitting there waiting patiently. I have 5 batteries and an extra kit. LOL All of my purchases, except for cartos (tried XL, Fluxomizer, and have an order in for Boge), since that first week have centered around juice.

You "might" want to have a sandwich baggie on hand if you have to stick it in your pocket for a long time and see how it does with leaking. Pocket protector??? LOL And keep some hand wipes and paper towels or tissues handy too.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations!

My very first PV purchase turned out to be a scam, one of those "Free Trial" offers. I discovered ECF within days of placing that order and, following advice given here, canceled out on that fraud before I had to pay more than the shipping charge. Yay ECF!

My second and third were only four days after that first order, but I never actually used that first one, so I'm not sure it counts, heh. The follow up orders, which I did get to enjoy, were for the Janty Kissbox Classic and a V4L KR808D-1 kit. This all happened a year ago this month.

This seems to be normal with any new hobby. Especially one that may save your life. I've been vaping about 2 months now. Still using my original DSE801...... BUT...... I've started DIY juice and am now looking into building my first bottom feeder. I think it's about to get out of control. Can't wait! Life is too short not to try new things and have some fun.

Congratulations on giving up cigs! I can't tell you what to purchase, I can only say, I have not saved one dime. In fact, I'm in the hole. I had to get more volts, more juice, easier access, you name it. I'm still only a couple months in, so maybe that will stop. Just hang in there, and these folks know the ropes, so take it from them and pick for you.

WooHoo! Another convert to vaping! It's a revolution I tell ya!! Grats on the move from analogs. I use the KR808 (VaporKing) also and love it. I'm checking into a big batty style now too since i want extremes the Shockwave is at the top of my list so far:

The Super T stuff is extremely well-made, classy, and wicked pretty to look at. You might want to check out their line of big batt PVs called Precise. They are really nice units. Good luck and vape on!

After four months I have 2 xpower batteries 2 XL KR808s & one Ego. I won't even mention that gallon of Propylene Glycol or all the juice and flavors. those were absolutely necessities.. Can't imagine why I would need anything else. But that Provari is looking good. With willpower and solid determination I may hold out another month. But that Provari is looking really good.
