I've recently been on a kick of giving away stuff (maybe too much stuff) that doesn't get enough use from me to people that smoke and are interested in getting off cigs. It always feels good and I know a lot of others are doing the same out there. I thought it would be cool to hear what you've been doing to help others avoid analogs?
:)

I have 2 coworkers that expressed interest in my stuff after they watched me quit smoking, and they know how much I loved smoking, but they are both single dads and can't afford to delve into a bit of vapor gear on a gamble.

I gave them each a 650mah ego, a clearomizer, a charger and a bottle of juice. If they like it then cool, if not I'm only out $20 for each of them. I do hope it helps, they are good people.

Also I am loaning the first 2 eGo's I got (1000mah XXL's, no lock, no vv, lol) to another friend (another single dad... ...) but he seems less interested in quitting the cigs and more interested in borrowing my stuff so he can use it in places where he can't smoke.. that's starting to get a little irritating.

I have given out 2 cigalike style kits to friends who were serious about quitting smoking however were not having much luck with the patch/gum and either didn't want to go on the meds or had a bad reaction to the quit smoking meds. I also have given out a lot of different juices to people i know who vape.

Now the only thing I wish was abit different is I am the one who is at the front of the group of people I know in vaping. So I end up being the one to buy newer stuff, gamble on flavors to try, and explore different mods when I can. But now that I am hoping to get a RBA such as a genesis type tank, I gotta end up buying one. Course they are not overly expensive however when you got kids getting into more and more things it seems it cost more and more money lol.

But I do have to admit there is something great about being the guinea pig of the group and finding a new thing that works out great and being able to pass it on to others who you can see enjoy it. I have known a few people that I have come across who tried e cigs and had bad experiences because they didnt have anyone to give them any info, and they ended up buying real junk at crazy prices, and didn't know of all the mods and different parts/devices that can help enhance ones experience.

If / when you do get an RBA do not be discouraged if it sucks at first. There is a pretty steep learning curve coming from easily replaceable clearo heads/cartos. BUT when you do get it the vape is awesome. Also they are A LOT cheaper to operate over time. Bulk SS mesh (or silica if you prefer) and Kanthal wire are a lot cheaper over even a short period of time than replacing atomizer heads or carto tanks.

I understand that an RBA (genesis style) is going to be abit of work, And as I guess for lack of a better term, being the guinea pig will be a great experience for not just myself but for other, and by others not just my rl friends, but anyone I come across who has questions. The more I can learn the more helpful I can become. And of course better my vape experience.

I have always been the type of person who liked to give stuff that I have but do not need, want, use anymore to someone who could use it. And the more and more deeply I get into e cigs I find it makes more sense to pass on things that I have either upgraded and or don't use anymore. Even stuff I don't like I pass on, I of course tell the person that I did not like the item, however I have come to realize in the e cig community what one person likes/hates another will have the exact opposite reaction. Now if only shipping to Canada wasn't so expensive at times... (I try my best to support Canadian companies, however sometimes they just do not have what I want).

Hooked my mail carrier up with an extra eGo style battery I had lying around, and a half bottle of liquid.
my USPS mail carrier.
I know, right?
She's the best mail carrier ever, though.

It's so funny that you mentioned something like that. The exact same thing is what inspired to to start this thread. I have a nice little eGo kit that I made up to my mail woman, came back in the house with that refreshing feeling of helping someone else and decided to start this thread...what does it all mean!?!? Hahahaha

I'm in your shoes, as far as being the guinea pig amongst my vaping friends. It ends up costing a lot of money, but the experience and knowledge gained along the way is worth it, not to mention all of the cool stuff you end up accumulating.
