As the title suggests, is there problems with batteries of late or am I just having a run of bad luck?
I have KR808's and eGo's, never had any problems other than one that was DOA. Well, as always I never leave them unattended when charging and am thankful of that, put one of the 808's on charge this morning, since its a new one this will be its 10th or so time, as always I have cleaned the charger and battery connection first, went back less than 20 minutes later and the battery is red hot, I mean, too hot to touch, I pulled it from the mains (And yes I was using the chargers that were supplied with the battery) and have left it on a plate to cool (and away from anything ignitable).
I've stopped using the eGo's recently since they are starting to run a little warm but I suspect they just need replacing.
I told DH when he called after I unplugged it and he wasn't happy at all but has never been a fan of things with internal batteries. I've also never seen anything on here about this problem with 808's, reat about eGo style batteries going (some rather spectacularly). Just put me a little on edge.
