I need a 510 atty (I think I'm using a couple of 901 atty's right now).

I bought a disposable pack just so I could get the 510 atty but then the carts I've been using can't be used with it. The carts it uses make it a three piece and I don't want that. Guess I just wasted my money there. Ugh.

I want to use a 510 atty because I hear they are better but I don't want to go to 3 pieces.

Help!

The 510 is a 3 piece kit...battery + atomizer + cartridge. The two piece kits are battery plus cartomizer...and the cartomizer is what the name sounds like, an atomizer combined with a cartridge. You're not going to be able to use any kind of separate atomizer with the cartomizers, although there are adapters that allow you to use different batteries with your cartomizers.

Have you read through http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...strated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-6-a.html ? It is so helpful, especially when it comes to explaining what is what and what can work with what...if that makes any sense...

I am 100% sure that none of the liquids I have have any sugar in them. I know that several flavorings have a sweetness to them. Ethyl Maltol is one common component that has a distinct sweet perception. Flavorings such as those made by FlavourArt and Capella often have a perceived sweetness although they are 100% sugar free.

Some people add pure splenda (not the stuff from the grocery store) to increase perceived sweetness. I personally don't like the way it vapes, so I don't. Others here have tried stevia, but again, I don't like it. Sugar would gum up the atomizers so it would NEVER be recommended.

Both PG and VG have some natural sweetness to them. But so do a lot of other things that have nothing what-so-ever to do with sugar.

:)

Great answer! So good in fact, I'ma ask one more.

Anything with maltol, cakes, cookies... yada yada yada.... effects the digestive tract. Are the amts absorbed so small as to not have that effect, do you know?

Thanks, I'm looking through that now. I took a picture of all of the atomizers and batteries I have so I can post them as well.

Instead of emptying ashtrays, I charge batteries (much less messy).
Instead of using a lighter to light a cigarette, I drip a couple drops on my atomizer.
Instead of flicking ash into an ashtray, I press and release a button.
And instead of buying a carton of cigarettes, I buy an atomizer and juice (much cheaper). [Actually I buy several in advance, since I can’t just run out to a convenience store to get them.]

nice, haha. Good way to look at it.

That's awesome! I just tried it, and I was able to get about 15 drops in there. Okay, cool, I'm in business. How long should 15 drops last you?

Thanks a bunch by the way! Oh, and I used a the curved end of a standard nail file attached to some nail clippers and the top popped right off.

Sweet!

Im glad the video helped! A full cartomizer is equal to about 6 cigs at least for me. I use approx 4 cartz a day (sometimes more) and I was a 2+ pack a day smoker. One tip...dont vape your cartz until dry. Put more juice in it as soon as it tastes different or burnt. You can also rinse your cartz in hot water and blow out excess water then let dry overnight. I rinse mine out once a week.

My 15th post, sweet, I can post images! Here's what I have, left to right. 901 with 901 atty, 510 with 901 atty, and 510 disposable. I believe based on what I thought I would be able to swap the 510 atty for use with the 510 battery but then it makes it waaay to long and I don't want to use that set up.

I'm ready to just give the whole disposable kit away or something now that I know how to use drip.

Other than making your mouth water sometimes there isn't any effect at all.

Tasting in vaping is really just touching the tongue and aroma - so it is kind of glorified smelling. No matter how hard you smell those luscious cinnamon buns - you won't get any calories from them!

The tiny amounts of flavor and other substances that touch your tongue won't add up to any significant calories. If you look on the label of most flavoring bottles you will see that they are zero calories even at cooking quantities!
