Yeah it's fathers day, but my wife went all the way to vapestock with me and I had my nice shiney scubagen, and she had her crooked CE2 tank mod I made her. Well I felt bad and rightly so, here is my make up CE2 mod for her.
I turned 5/8 aluminum down to 1/2" and added a 1/16" oring for the top. I tapered the inside so the silicon coil cap is guided into the hole and mates against the bottom of the drip tip (no leaking when laid down)
The bottom I turned a 1/2" x 1/4" tall tube a CE2 plastic tube would fit into, and added a 1/32" o-ring groove. The bottom is a free floating design so change outs are a snap. I glued a 1/4" long piece of CE2 tube inside the aluminum so all I have to do is press the CE2 in place and slide the aluminum piece into position.
With the extra long 5/8"OD x 1/2"ID poly tube, it acts like a nice support for the CE2 on the ego.
