My first tank mod!

Now...its kinda odd for now, was using 808s and am now using a 18650 mod, so its an 808 XL CE2 with a 510 adapter.

Got the idea from a few people, only had to make two small changes....
1. Didn't have any thin tubing...and it was 10:30 so home depot wasn't an option. Soooo, I used two cart condoms, hammered a dead carto through the ends so they ended up just tubes. Slid one on, then wedged the other over it, and the whole thing into the 5ml syringe.
2. Used empty CE2 steel housing to go into the ceramic cup/silicone. Now...I don't know how anybody did this step without problems. My silicone cup cap kept sliding into my steel CE2 sleeve. So, I took one of the rubber mouthpieces and kept screwing it into the CE2 sleeve until it was snug against the silicone cap where it needed to be. This allows the silicone cup cap to just sit in my mouthpiece tip....NO LEAKS AT ALL! Flipped upside down, sitting sideways, vaping upside down, etc.

Anyway, this post is just a THANK YOU to everybody who has ever posted any advice, a how to vid, or in general done anything to help the vaping community.

So... THANK YOU ECF!

Oh, and anybody have any tips to not completely indent the steel CE2 when you use a pipecutter on it? I tried a pen...and had to break the pen to get the CE2 off :p

Well done! That's a great job, especially for a first time.

There's really no way to not indent the steel using a pipe cutter. Unfortunately they depend on pressure to help make and guide the cut. If you have 2 screwdrivers, 1 that fits perfectly inside, and 1 that's smaller, you can try sliding the bigger screwdriver about halfway into the tube, and using the other to well it back out, but it won't be perfect.
