all that...and not having to drive in the snow at 1am because you ran out, just to find out you didn't have enough cash, plus the gas station won't take credit cards for smokes...so you drive to the bank only to realize you forgot your atm card at home...and the snow is still falling...and yadda yadda yadda...your car has a wrecked fender now. LOL

Have a great day!

I won't miss bleaching my teeth every week and all of the other steps I had to take to not look or smell like a smoker.

We kept Febreeze in business.

I also won't miss having a cig stick to my lips as I'm pulling out of a drag, burning my fingers on the end of the cig and tearing a chunk of skin off of my lips in the same process. Ouch.

I will not miss having to scrub at the windows of my car to get thhe nasty film off.

I will not miss the stink in my car that I love to keep looking nice.

I will not miss the rain, snow, sleet, etc. spitting in my face because I want a ciggie so bad, I crack the window anyway.

I will not miss being a friggin slave to a pack of 20 stupid little sticks of frustration, suffering, and friction between myself and family / others.

I don't miss the ashes allll over my desktop (keyboard, floor below), the smell geez it's nice not to have everything reek of smoke--my hair, my clothes, my bedding, my car, esp. the inside of my purse and everything else. I don't miss the .....y, whiny anti-smokers or the unreal expense of 8 bucks a day or driving miles around because my Djarum cloves are only sold at specialty tobacco shops. I really, really don't miss the red, scratchy eyes, miserable sinuses, coughing, and what I cannot believe is the dark circles under my eyes are GONE. I keep looking in the mirror, looking even closer thinking maybe it's the light. Nope, the dark circles under my eyes have gone away! I thought I inherited them LOL

All that.

And I don't miss lighting one up, getting one or two drags, putting it down and having it burn down to the filter before I remember to pick it up again.

I don't miss knowing it's time to throw a shirt away based on the size and quantity of burn holes.

From a lifelong gamer, we call that a "DOOM cigarette"!

How about not paying attention and lighting the WRONG end (filter) on the only smoke you brought out for your smoke break? Or going on that break and discovering your lighter has crapped out?

Also won't miss all of the swearing when dropping an ashtray - and of course I only knocked them over or dropped them when they were full. In fact, I dropped the full ashtray the night I stopped smoking and am still cleaning it up.

I once walked almost a mile, after being snowed in for longer than expected, through 3 foot deep snow, because I ran out of cigs. Considering I am 4' 11" tall, the snow came up to my waist. I was really glad hubby was there to break a path, but it was the hardest walk I ever took. Wont miss that.

Also won't miss the panic attacks that would set in if I started running out of cigs, knowing I didn't have even any long butts, and knowing that hubby wasn't going to be home for hours with a new pack.
