What I'd like to see on new eVic firmware

Hey everyone!

First of all, I wanted to put this thread in the model specific area of the forums but didn't see one for eVics! I was very surprised considering how much potential it has. Anyways, this is a list of things I'd like to see on some new firmware or even custom firmware. Please share what you'd like to see!

- Lock out code (protection against children using it, someone else had this great idea...too bad i don't remember who)
- Display brightness setting
- switch between users (not too important, but would be cool to do)
- holding switch left should also bring up the clock and calendar that you can find in the calendar menu, it's different from the regular one in the corner, it fills the screen.
- ability to not let screen turn off after taking a drag, i have mine set to 'never' for screen off but if i take a drag it turns off after.
- just give us custom profiles of 1 - 4 (this will allow us to have variable voltage set up in different ways across profiles instead of changing to wattage or the one other variable voltage)
- stopwatch? might as well give this things a few watch features

Yeah, that would be nice, I doubt it can be fixed by firmware updates though...

Charge when connecting to a PC, not upload data/charge, so it's useable at least on a Linux computer

yeah I just noticed this the other day, I did notice that the screen dims and gets brighter as the animation plays when turning on and off, I wonder if it can get even brighter?

I didn't see it in the MVR, maybe it's there I'll look next time I plug in. But I would like to be able to set it to show the date day first, month second

I completely agree with you, I was just talking about this to my wife, it makes no sense that it's set for a whole day. I have no idea how much I want in a day, and besides, I could just smoke that whole amount a couple hours and the rest of the day i'd be screwed! It being an hour would be perfect so i don't vape the hell out of it and end up sick, which i've done too many times.

I doubt they can fix the higher than 11w issue with firmware, but it would be nice. Just one or two more watts would make a big difference. I run into my amp limit from time to time. I suspect the power issue is hardware limited, sadly.
