I am happy to say that I am officially 2 weeks with no analog!!! I carried a load of laundry up the steps last night and didn't feel like I had to stop and catch my breath!!! I think I have finally figured out how to work my Ego properly, what a cartomizer is, how to fill them (although I still flood them lol) and found some e juice that I just love!!!

But.....I woke up two mornings ago with a SEVERE break out! I never really had acne, maybe just a few around that time of the month that you could pop and they were gone by the next day. These suckers are like under the skin, and you can't pop them! I have one on my chin right now, that I swear looks like my body is trying to create another appendage! I checked out the message boards and the saw that people have experienced "quitzits". How do you know if they are really "quitzits" and you are not having some sort of reaction to the juice? (I don't have a rash, no itching, etc)

I had quit zits forever. (Almost a year...and 9 of those months I was both cig and e-cig free). My doctor explained to me that the chemicals in cigarettes (and just the carbon monoxide in general) really, really messes with your hormones. This is what causes the acne in MOST people who quit smoking (not all).

I thought it was all kinds of things and spent nearly a year trying to figure it out. (And by the way, I drank TONS of water...didn't help one iota.)

I hate to tell you this, but the thing that finally got rid of my acne was going on Minocycline (a low-dose antibiotic). I'm going to try to go off of it now and see what happens, but from what my doc said, I'll probably not need it since I had a test recently that showed my hormone levels are now completely normal.

With that said, when I started vaping again a couple of months ago, I noticed that I was getting little zits again. Not like the big, crater-like nasties I had before, but tiny ones. I switched to 100% VG and I don't have issues anymore. So, it could be the PG. Try switching to VG and see what happens before going on any meds for your acne.

Drinking a tall glass as I type this. Ugh, I seriously hate drinking water!!! LOL

    Heyas Chess,
If you don't care for water, try some gatorade or other sports drink. They're designed for rehydrating, after all. And much tastier than water. Of course, the added sugar may not help any with the zits. Powerade makes a sugar free sports drink though.

I hope to god it doesn't get to the point I need to go on antibiotics!!! I am extremely, extremely sensitive to them and can't be on doxycycyline or minocycline, they make me sicker than a dog! I picked up some tea tree oil and a mild face wash, so I am going to give that a try. I have some VG juice here, so I will try vaping with that for a while and see if that helps too. I know that acne is better than smoking, but these things HURT!!!! :( And, I guess I will drink water....yuck!

Figgered you would, tj! Slot canyons look so cool...unless, of course, there are rainclouds nearby or you have your hand caught between a rock and the wall.

    What are you near, anyway?

    ROFL
If a T storm rumbled by you would have more than enough to drink
Pic I posted is from Upper Kaibito Creek. Easy 2 hour hike as long as you don't climb down into Kaibito Creek canyon as well. I think they have closed access to it tho'.

I only drink and cook with bottled water now - too many problems with the tapwater where I am. But I guess most people would put this in the tinfoil hat department. To be honest, so did I, before things got so I had to find a solution :)

The Quitzits don't get everyone so you're just unlucky. In the worst cases they can last for months. Like people have already said here, you might just be able to find a solution though.
