What is a decent 3.7 or 5V Box Mod for 510

that takes 14500 batteries. I am considering going this route. Pros and cons 3.7V vs 5V looking for battery life

Take a look at the REO Mini or the Grand. Mini is a bottom fed mod that uses a 14500 battery. The Grand is an 18650 based mod.

I would only buy a box mod which is made of metal, if the batteries decide to blow up you don't want plastic shrapnel exploding in your face. This is why all the mods i own are mechanical with nothing inside to fail and made of metal with vent holes.

Another vote for Ken's I have been using his 5v box mod for about a week now, solid mod and very reasonable.

I can't say anything about 5v, because I don't use one....but as a recent convert to mods, I agree with gb and say the REO mini. I also agree with Firefly....though my hubby, a massive mod collector, would be mortified to hear me say this....I think the metal mods are much more durable. I use the REO mini which runs on a 3.7v 14500 battery, has 3ml bottle for juice, an LR atomizer and drip tip. That's it. I love it because its small enough for me to hold and operate comfortably, and it is simple to use and maintain. And that was a big deal to me cause I'm lazy. Anyway, I wish you well on your qwest. I'm sure you'll love the mods once you try them.
