What is a doubler and what does it do?

I am new at this and I saw a thread that mentioned adding a doubler. What is it and what exactly does it do?

It's ejuice with no nic. Tasty vapor has this option, not sure if others do it. You can add more pg/vg and flavor to your nic juice. If you had 20ml of 24mg ejuice and had a doubler of the same flavor you could add 20ml of it to your 24mg and get 40ml of 12mg ejuice without losing flavor.

In other words just buy PG or VG and some flavor and make your own.

If you knew their recipe, sure. It's more like you find one of their flavors you really like (this is premade ejuice btw) and this is an option to get more of it for less money. Buy double the nic content and cut it.

Thanks. Cleared that up. Doublers are for pre-mixed only. Could they be considered a DIY flavoring?

I was stationed in Washington at Fort Lewis. I didn't care for the weather all that much. Too much liquid sunshine for me.

It wouldn't violate any laws or result in any arrests, but you won't find a DIY mixer that would consider them flavoring.

If you wanted to add nicotine to one to make something to vape, as long as you liked the diluted flavor, it would work. If the prospect of mixing flavoring, PG, VG, and nicotine is a bit daunting and you like light taste, it might be a better way to go?

Ya, I wouldn't use them for DIY. Using them for that may violate something...
I'm on the dry side of the state. I tried living over there, was not for me either.

Just to clear things I just wanted to know what they were. I did not plan on using them. I have some DIY juice steeping now.

Tdinello, believe it or not, there have been folks who used TV's Doublers to make juice. (Put nicotine solution in them) It works for a few folks. When I first read of it, I thought it was a crazy thought, but now, I know that I'm the crazy one.

A more interesting question is, what are you steeping?

I am steeping a batch of my ADV. It is a mixture of three flavors from Hangsen (T5 + RY4 + Virginia).

I had thought about it myself, just add 100mg nic to get to my percentage. But I didn't know if I liked their juice and I wanted to get more involved and really DIY my own juice. I knew there were flavor interactions and they could be needed at different percentages. It just seemed like it would be like trying to write with boxing gloves on.
But one thing is for sure, we're all going to like something different. That's why I make my own.
