I have to be completely honest with you P-Kat...

When I saw the topic of your question, I assumed *you* were the one making a juvenile attempt at humor until I read it...and this is coming from a man that has never been to a strip club once in his long, boring life :)

Additionally, since this term has been used in the news media as a pejorative to describe Tax Reform proponents that have protests known as T.E.A. Parties/"Tea Parties" (they are referred to in a derisive way as "teabaggers") the term has become even more "mainstream"/common...even if some hearing/using it are not aware of its explicit origin.

That said, I believe it was a bit, I don't know, "uncool" for you to make a general statement moralizing due to your own ignorance of the phrase. Most of the responses were quiet chuckles :)

It WOULD have been quite cruel, tasteless and juvenile if folks were toying with you, asking leading questions, etc.

While you may not appreciate such...off-colour humour, we are all adults here and in all honesty discussion about something you stick into your mouth and suck on the end of for personal pleasure that contains a viscous juice you can't get enough of is going to lead to SOME sort of "racy" double-entendre from time to time :)

Lighten up a bit ;)

FWIW, I wasn't laughing at you or your question, I was laughing at Jay for reminding me of the other meaning for the term. Also, I have never been to a ......... in my life so save that preaching for someone else.

You know what I think? I think you knew exactly what you were posting when you called it 'tea bagging' because I have NEVER seen it referred to as that on this site, I've seen it called the tea bag mod or the PTB mod, but never tea bagging. Then you choose to post with your holier-than-thou attitude and call me rude and say I have no manners. Nuh-uh... sell it somewhere else, I ain't buying it.

In your bushes, watching you undress
PurKat, my joke was not an attempt to laugh at YOU, but making a simple joke (which is often made in tea bag threads by the way) to inject some humor.

Do realize that this is a public forum, and much like having an open conversation in public around a great many people, you will get the occasional smartass like me. Knowing that you would be getting a full-on explanation, I added some humorous content. I don't understand why you felt I was being rude... but your interaction with Shreck explained that to me.

I can't help if a few (and I do mean *few*) people around here have delicate sensibilities. This forum is VERY tame compared to most others, so I'd suggest you not venture to far out into the dark & scary internet...

However, I do apologize if you felt offended by my post, that certainly was not my intent.

And all I can do is thank God that you only questioned my comment on tea-bagging and not my further comment about the Cleveland Steamer... if you thought tea-bagging was bad, do NOT Google Cleveland Steamer.

No, really... don't.

Dear MrKai,

I am here to learn about an alternate way to smoking, for health purposes. It really is a shame when a grown adult man, like yourself, takes an innocent question, and turns it into something dirty, by the way you worded things. Not every one reads the same newspapers, that you read.

As you have stated, we are all adults here, and as a responsible adult, I posted in the appropriate forum, for my specific question, so I could receive real answers for that question. I asked an ‘innocent’ question, and I expect to get a legit answer. I am sure SJ would agree with me, and thanks to two kind souls, I did receive appropriate answers, thank you!

So let me be perfectly honest with you... I did NOT make a joke, nor was I laughing, when I wrote that question! Being the adult you are, only you are responsible for your own ‘mind’, and how you ‘think’, and not me!

Medically speaking, any emotionally immature person who has his/her mind in the gutter, can take anything an innocent person says, and turn it into something dirty. That’s their problem, not mine! I do not waste my brain cells on such filthy nonsense!

All I am saying is, no one should cause an innocent person to suffer, at the expense of your dirty minded thoughts and outside jokes. I did choose the appropriate forum, for the questions I asked. However, I am unable to say the same thing, for those who choose to turn an innocent question, into some off-colour humour.

Galatians 6: 8
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

To prove a point here .. how do you feel, when I expose you to my world, and quote you a few of my favorite scripts? Hmmm... think about it....Would you appreciate it, if I quoted you scripts, or answered your question with a script, or completely avoid your question, and just posted a script, then laugh?

I am all for having some clean fun.... but I dare say, not everyone would appreciate me sharing my world with them. Well... same goes for not everyone appreciating the filthy jokes either!

This is a public forum, and it should be treated with respect. We are all strangers to each other, and a person just never knows when your off-colour humour, or scripts, would offend someone.

So having said that, there are appropriate forums for everything, wouldn’t you think?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8,11
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Happy Vaporing! :)

PS: I will post my scripts in the appropriate forum, if you do the same with your off-colour humour. This is an e-cig forum, and not a ......... or religious group.

Basically with flavoring and Propylene Glycol / Vegetable Glycerin.
Ask if you have more questions.

Thank you so much! I own and run a Lupus Support Group, and many are trying to find alternate ways to kick the analogs. Since many of the members live on disability, these home made recipes are greatly appreciate! The ‘Propylene Glycol’ ingredient is in my Eye Drops. Hmmm?

Juicy97,
Thank for explaining yourself. Just like anything else, we each entitled to our own opinion. You are free to believe however you choose.

Happy Vaporing! :)

That's what I have been thinking all along as I observed this tempest in a, ah, tea bag. It's the "teabag mod" and the whole wink-wink/nudge-nudge bit about "teabagging" quite effectively hijacked the thread. So, I wonder when it'll get to the move along, folks, nothing further to see here stage... sooner than later wouldn't be an entirely bad thing. :)

Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin plus flavoring is in all "juices" -
the only thing I am leaving out is the nicotine.

Propylene Glycol may be further researched here: Propylene glycol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

OMG, she's offended by the rather innocuous
(sorry to interrupt)

Ok, clearly this is going to have to be explained. I know it seems like the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet version, and I hate to burst the big wink-wink bubble -- but really, this is the way it happens:

So one night, Mommy and Daddy Teabag decide to have a special night. They go out for a romantic candle-light dinner at the Celestial Seasonings Cafe, and then it's off to a movie. Afterward, they walk home slowly holding hands in, you know, that special way -- and nine months later the stork, or possibly the UPS truck, brings them Little Teabag.

Ok! So that settles it! Are we done now?

Dear Bandit,

Apology fully accepted, and forgiven!. Thank you for explaining yourself!! I really do appreciate you, for doing that! For me, it was like I asked this purely innocent question, and the first few response was just laughing. I really had no earthly idea, what was going on. I am not familiar with the ‘tea bag’ terms or events or sex acts, everyone was referring to. Then when some nice gentleman carefully explained it to me, I felt really embarrassed. NOT because of what he said, but because of what the words ‘tea bag’ meant to many people, on this forum. I NEVER would of asked that question, if I had known before hand.

I did not question you about the ‘Cleveland Steamer’, because according to how this was going, I just figured it was another off joke, that I really did not care to know about. And no, I did not Google it either. HA! As for the internet, I have been doing medical research, since 1992, so yes, I have seen a few websites, that I wished, that I had not stumbled upon. HA! Now I am more careful about which websites I visit.

I loved your Humerus!!! Thanks for making me laugh, because I was so close to tears, and I really needed to laugh, so could I change my mood! I did shed a few, but the Brain is unable to think both ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ at the same time, and the positive won over, praise God! HA!

In the medical world, we can tell some pretty ‘off’ good jokes, but the general public would probably not appreciate our sense of humor. HA! So as I said earlier, there really is an appropriate time and place for everything.

As a Medical Support Group Founder/Owner/Administrator, I would have never allowed someone to pass on an off-colour humour joke, as a response to a newbie question. But here, there is no pre-approval of messages for this forum, so people will be people. HA! To each their own, in how they find humor.

I have kept your list of those to avoid or beware of, and will be more prepared, if I do run into them. HA! Since my mind does not think that way, it may be impossible to avoid some things.

Again, thank you for you kind explanation, apology, and Humerus joke!! It was greatly appreciated and needed.

Happy Vaporing! :)

Father Luke,

For some reason, I am having problems with the ‘quote’ button.

Can we use just regular cooking flavors, or does it take as special flavoring liquid type?

Also, will any VG; work, or does it have to be special VG?

Yes, I have been looking for an alternate way, for some time now. I received a FDA warning report, about e-cigs, which brought my attention to them. However, after reading the FDA report, I noticed they only tested a few ‘supplies’ who are known for bad products, in the first place. Just did not make sense to me. I felt they should of done a world wide testing, of all suppliers. So I too am interested in the zero nic products.

Thanks for all your help!

Cute! Don’t believe the medical books would explain it this way, but I will say, it’s cute! LOL!

Mikea,

Apparently people need some eye glasses, because my question said ‘tea bag’ and not ‘tea bagging’
