I want to get a Joye 510 for my husband, but on the website they include things in their kits I have never heard of. What is a usb passthrough and a PCC? Should I just get the basic no box? It's pretty inexpensive. Where do I get more batteries or longer lasting ones? I'm on information overload, especially after researching this stuff for the last two days. I'm reading the EFC library right now, but I want to order tonight and would like to get these questions out of the way. Thanks for any input.

PCC - Personal Charging/Carrying Case - a battery powered case that you charge beforehand. This will allow you to charge one battery on the go, and hold your atty/carts.

Passthru - A USB powered device that looks like a battery with a USB cable attached to it. You use this to connect to your computer/USB power source so you can vape without using your batteries.

Both are indispensable.

Ok, bear with me as I'm brand new to this too! I ordered my joye 510 from cignot.com and it shipped the very next day. I'm hoping it will be here in a few days.

The PCC is a personal charging case, looks similar to a pack of cigarettes and has it's own rechargeable battery. Once that's charged you can use it to charge a battery while on the go. I ordered the kit that came with this.

The USB passthrough is used in place of a battery and gets it's power from a USB plug either via your computer or a wall/car charger that accepts a USB plug. I'm wishing that I'd ordered this as well but will have to get it at another time.

Cignot (and others) sell extra batteries and extended life batteries.
