I like (all are reputable or I wouldn't mention)...
madvapes (Great juice)
TastyVapor (Decent juice)
Cignot (Awesomly Fast)
DIYFlavorShack (Fast, good and personalized service)
LiteCigUSA (Reputable)
VaporKings (Reputable)

I try many vendors, and haven't got screwed yet... But I know, somewhere, there's going to be a snake in the grass!

I have dealt with many good people on this site... cignot, dietsmokes, V4L, LiquidXpress, Halo, TV, SaberTouch, Alien Visions, VT... all top notch folks. I look forward to meeting more good folks.

The best thing I ever did was get an eGo... it's close to perfect as far as I am concerned.
I got a kit from dietsmokes and from cignot.
Both top notch folks.

Well, I just ordered the Janty eGo today but don't have it yet so I can't say yes or no to it. Haven't heard anything bad yet though aside from the button being activated in the pocket. I use an Envy Bliss ecig right now and would not recommend it for any reason aside from maybe a last resort. The battery life is horrible and the carts are nasty.

So, I can't tell you what to buy but at least you can scratch that one off of your list. If it was even there to begin with, lol.

What I've noticed is that the general ecig community is entirely over-run by vendors, and people advocating for vendors

so true

The advocating for vendors that you will see in this forum is from patrons of those vendors who are pleased with their experience(s). I'm one of them and have no connection to any vendor other than as a customer.

Welcome!
I'm also a new ecig user, as of but four weeks now. I started with a KR808D-1 with cartomizers - a two piece unit if you are not familiar with it. They are available at many vendors. I dealt with two - CigEasy and Vapor4Life, and had a good experience with both.

I however did not like the process for refilling the cartomizers, and considered them too expensive for a single use and then throw out. Others really, really like cartomizers. Just not preferred by me.

I now have a Joye510 xl from Cignot, and some of their liquid, with mega atomizers and mega cartridges, and am very happy with the products.

By no means are these the only products that people here like. But it does seem to me that the Joye 510 (be careful - there are other companies that make a 510, and some seem less reliable from what I have read) and the KR808D-1 are two of the more popular, and more widely available.

Be careful of niche products. They may be good, but may be hard to find from more than a very limited number of vendors. If you get locked in to a less popular and common brand, it may be hard to get the replacement parts you will need, and they may be more expensive. Competition leads to lower prices.

For me the 510 has one advantage over the KR808D-1. It can be used as either a two piece with a cartomizer or as a three piece - and easily so without buying any adapters. On the other hand, the KR808D-1 has better battery life in a smaller length than the 510 xl, while the standard 510 is short but has a very limited battery life.

I would also suggest that you try both PG and VG liquids. They are quite different and if one does not work well for you, you may have a much better experience than the other.

YMMV. Good luck finding what is best for you.

Although I have not personally tried the joye I have to say that if even half the reviews and comments that I have heard about it are true than it is definitely a great pv. I personally almost bought one but then I started to hear about another 510 model called the magma made by volcano. The benefit to the magma that the joye did not have was the smart pcc. I had seen the metal pcc that joye had and had also heard about some people actually cutting themself on the sharp metal.. and that was not for me.. I got my magma about 3 days after I ordered it and have to say that I love it. Great vapor and throat hit, constistanly

Do the batteries die quickly?
not so far... i charge the pcc every two days on average and the cig maybe once everyday if even... a major change from my first pv which was the blu.. i charged it more than i would use it.. and with the blu i had two batteries.. i only have one for my magma and it definitely lasts a long time.

Hi bsilverop, I'm fairly new to vaping (2nd week) but a 30 yr history of smoking, and most definitely not a vendor. There's tons of good places to buy from online, unfortunately scam artists gravitate very quickly to new markets and you can only be as careful as you have the moxy to be. I will give a thumbs up for the only online vendor I've personally dealt with so far, that's ecigarettesnational.com. Very high on customer service, not a great selection but good for starters and prices are reasonable.

I had a working, but not 100% atty in my starter package that they replaced and didn't want me to send the faulty one back... said keep it as a backup or throw it away... very nice customer service in this world of wackos we find ourselves in. Good luck, seems like a great bunch in this forum, willing to help rather than miming the standard "read the faq!"
