What is better , Flask or Beaker for spin plate ?

Just a noob question , I was looking on the net at the DIY spin plate vids and see most use flasks , but the vids are mostly for brewing .

Just wondering what others here where useing to put your mix in on a stir plate .

I would say if you're trying to oxygenate your liquid, use a beaker; if not, use a flask and plug it.

I can't say which is better because all i have is flasks,but they work just fine,and if you keep it open,they will still pull in plenty of oxygen.

It's like being a chef. All that matters is the end product. It doesn't make a difference how you get their (syringes,flasks,beakers,etc..).

Beaker user here, easier to clean for me.
But, as been said, whatever works!

That's the reason i went with flasks,i figure with the taper at the top they are easier to hold on to also.That and i found a great deal on them that i couldn't pass on haha.

I use flasks, smaller chance of stuff falling into it, but I don't see it would make a difference. I imagine you could use baby food jars, canning jars, etc.

Thanks guys , I did pick up a couple small measuring glasses at the local Meijers store , 120 ml plus 3 other measurements on the side of them also . I can still do 90 ml batches in them so not too bad I guess for the time being .

Still new to DIY and trying to find what works for me with pg/vg ratios and nic level .
