I wanted to drip and the provari 3 didn't have enough oomph so i went with some boxes. I do like the shorter height and at least for me they feel good in the hand.

Very exciting that provape will have a boxy model now too

A squonker is a reverse dripper. The atty has a hole through the 510 pin. When the wick starts to dry squeeze the bottle. It pushes juice up into the atty so you dont have to stop and drip all the time.

Well ain't that something. I'm going to have to google one of those and take a look at it. I didn't even know that existed. Just when I thought I had all the different aspects of vaping down, I get thrown another curve ball.

Well, if you have any $$ left, we can help you out :)

I'm quite sure you can. Lol. I really need to be careful as I can tend to have a bit of an obsessive personality. I just don't do anything half .... It gets me in and out of trouble about 50/50.

Edit: I'm going to have to stick with the word ...., or tush, or posterior, or something. It keeps censoring that word. They use that word on basic daytime television. Why sensor it?

I typically carry an iStick 30 or 50 for my day-to-day vaping. I don't take them as "boxy" because of their rounded edges. I also like that they're only a smidge taller than an 18650 battery, so I don't feel like I'm carrying a billy club or a light saber when I'm out and about. I have a couple of mech tubes, but again, those pretty much stick around the house - they're not my go-to mods.

I use the original Box Mod
    Reos%202015_zps1dimrrfy.jpg

I just like the form factor. The metal Reos is nearly indestructible, as well. Several of the mods in this picture are over three years old, and still work great. I also have two ProVari, that get only once-in-a-while use. Just my preference.

I don't have a squonker but do know what they are.

I use an eleaf istick40tc, and just bought the IPV D2.

CoolFire4 is an amazing workhorse, I also have a Subox (still use the mod but the subtank is pretty meh nowadays compared to the goblin mini) and a custom stab wood 18650 on the way.

I honestly don't know how this happened I only started properly a couple of months ago and now all I think about is my next piece of gear.

Googled a couple of these just a little while ago. I'm not sure if it's something I'm going to like, but some of the mods that I saw were really sharp looking. Once I'm done experimenting with the mechanical mods I ordered, I might just have to give one of these a shot. I did have one question though. Do they come with the bottle? I was wondering if I needed to order a specific type of bottle to use with them.

    End of Line.

They come with a bottle (and usually a spare).

Be careful though, squonking can ruin all other forms of vaping for you.

Indeed, it is. All the advantages of dripping with none of the drawbacks.

    Drawbacks? What drawbacks?
    Removing the top cap?

Squonking is neat, and keeps it all in one package but it's just dripping.
And you pay ALOT to avoid pulling a top cap.
I'm not bashing, just being honest.

Dripping without squonkng has some drawbacks, although some may not apply to everyone.

I won't drip and drive, but I'll squonk and drive.

I won't lay a dripper down in motorcycle luggage, but I will a squonker.

I won't leave bottles of juice out. Between the dog and 4 parrots, someone is bound to get poisoned. I won't take that chance. I won't even take the chance of having juice on my hands. It wouldn't take much to hurt or kill a parrot. So this means going to the kitchen, filling, wiping atty if needed, and washing hands. Gets to be a pain.

Now if I didn't have all these critters, I probably would drip more.

Yeah, I really don't have any "drawbacks" with my RDA, but admittedly, it's a very unique RDA -- holds 2.5ml, so "dripping while driving" is never a problem -- I make sure it's got plenty in it before I get behind the wheel, and it's good for many hours (it doesn't vaporize its full contents in a flash as the really airy RDAs do; I use maybe .3ml per hour). I really hate RDAs that the topcap fastens with o-rings, I never can get them lined-up straight so I play hell trying to get it back on correctly, and sometimes it's hard just to get them OFF -- so I use one that threads on, and the o-ring is to make sure it doesn't leak, not the fastening (and it NEVER EVER leaks, no matter its position, thanks to those o-rings backing up the threads).

It's really just a matter of finding the hardware that suits your own style of vaping -- because as perfect as the Achilles is for me, most folks nowadays would hate the tight draw -- and that's what I like BEST about it! :thumb:
