What is lifespan of Ego/Torn Battery?

How long do these batteries last? Weeks, months? One of my 510's went from live to dead in @ 6 weeks. The regular 510 costs maybe $10, the ego costs maybe $20. But if the ego dies in 6 weeks, is that cost comparable?

ps. where do you get the adaptor to charge your ego on a 510 charger?

cignot has the ego batteries and adapters for the 510 charger. I haven't ordered on yet, but will soon. They are supposed to last all day between charges.

eGo batteries bought through Janty USA come with a 3 months warranty. I've yet to reach 3 months with mine yet, but rotating between the two that came with my kit, I've no reason to use my 2 510 batts; especially since the 510 battery life is far less than the eGo.

Would be great to get 3+ months out of each battery. I'll see how that goes in the next couple months here.

I've had mine for over 3 months and they're both going strong.

As for the charger, you'll get an EGO charger when you buy your kit. No need to buy adapters, etc.

I have my thoughts on oem stats...it's a wide span...
Barring unfore seen baptisms in the porclein bowl, sudden deaccalrations onto hard surfaces... I am expecting the same life span as a typical e-cig batt, but maybe less cuz I also use a 801 & 901 on mine...I am using the charger that charges faster than the 510 standard charger.
....measured 3.4 ohms on 801, 901, got 12 hours heavy use, measured 3.5 ohms on 510, got 5 hours use with lots of rest between cuz of hot cone/atty. I can't explain it.

I've had my tornado since january and notice no difference in the performance at all.

I've had my eGo since Feb with great performance. Janty has a 6 mth warranty (not 3mth) on the eGo. Would advise that you look into spending the cash on the eGo's USB fast-charger though. The USB charger will have your battery ready to go in about 1 1/2 hr instead of several hours on any other charger.
