What is PG??

Like, the proper name for it. I'm getting ready to call a local place to see if they carry it & I don't know the name, what if I ask for PG & they have no idea what I'm talking about? Anything I need to know about it, like are there different types?

You want to ask if they have Propylene Glycol USP.

Something like this -
Propylene Glycol USP Kosher

Obviously you may not need a gallon of it, but that would be an example of what you want.

+1 to RenaissancePuffer's answer. The key in your search is to insure it is USP grade. Dependant upon where you go, you will come across "technical" grade and one other grade (that escapes me at this moment).

I ended up going to a veterinary supply and getting a gallon of usp grade for roughly $20. It's the only quantity they sold it in. I guess I have a lifetime supply of it now. LOL
