it is 4 months old and still working and I have no idea what AccuSet is, but the name is trademarked by someone other than Provari
Wow, a whole 4 months. I'm impressed, whatever it is. My oldest Provari is over 3 years old and still working like new.

You've spouted off a lot of inaccurate information in this post. Maybe be a little more sure about your statements in the future. The Provape-1 had a lifetime warranty, not the Provari. Provape will however service an out of warranty Provari for life. The P3 has a 20 watts, not 15.

Many companies use the term "AccuSet", and not necessarily for vaping purposes. AccuSet Technology is patented by Provape for their unique micro-processor. It is a military-grade processor-regulator (made in the US exclusively for Provape) whose patented Accuset Technology offers unmatched accuracy of providing the user's set voltage throughout its battery's life.

From a fully charged battery until that battery needs to be replaced, there will be no drop off in vapor quality as the battery is used. Your last puff will be as good as the first. The processor continuously monitors the battery voltage, and adjusts the voltage automatically to maintain the user setting within 1% accuracy. The regulator uses PWM (pulse width modulation) at 800+ Hz frequency, which many owners describe as a "smoother vaping experience" when compared to many other mods. The vast majority of mod processors use a lower frequency (33.3 - 60 Hz -- the rattlesnake effect).

Why Mods that Use the Cheap 33.3 Hz Chip don't Vape the Same as a Provari, DNA-20, etc

$100 for a 15 watt mod or upgrade to the version 3 at $250ish and the same 15 watts

15 watts is plenty for over 90% of those that vape.
I've built/driven a lot of race cars over the years, but I've never once driven a race car to work in the morning. Mega watt mods can be fun to play with, but they would also be my last choice for an ADV.

My first Provari cost the same as 3 weeks worth of cigarettes, and has performed perfectly for over 4 years now. So my Provari is now over 70 times less expensive than cigarettes.

I say if you have never owned one you likely would not understand. Got away from them for a while for the newest and gr8est and I am back to old school vaping my Provari at 1.4 ohms with a kayfun V2. Gives me as good a vape as any subohm system I own. CHEERS!

I have 3 provari's but one is my daily got to mod. They are all the 2.5 versions and they just flat out perform. I've used many other mods including mechs which I still have as well. The other regulated mods were one fail after another so I finally decided to spend my money on a proven product with an excellent track record. New Provaris can be had for $150.00 for the P3, special edition models will cost more just like with any other product. There are plenty of options out there to choose from, for me its provari.

I don't have a number of my own but can I ask where the number 90% of vapers in August of 2015 are under 20w came from??

With the price of watts falling all year I'd be interested in knowing a number.

Based both on the real world (20 or so vapers) and here I would put the number at 40-50. The mod itself I have no way of knowing the actual setting.

Both mods used and mods bought would be relevant for different data points.
