All B&M's around here sell that type of stuff.

In a small case.

Then all have the middle ground in a big area. Isticks and subox's and the like. 30-75-100 watts. This is the bread and butter. People quitting smoking.

Then the far end of HexOhms and other more expensive stuff for the hobbyists.

Standard lay out. Stuff sells itself. Open the doors and take the money. People want off smokes and its easy as pie these days.

Many will become hobbyists and find the innernet and hear of Provari. They should sell some units. They are not really part of the quitting smoking revolution but they can still have a place.

Between my wife and I, we have 4 Provaris. We have two 2.5s, one 2.5 polished Dragon edition, and one P3. All are less than than 16 months old....and only two currently work.

My silver 2.5 stopped working after 13 months of on and off use, and my wife's white 2.5 stopped working after 14 months of constant use. She now uses the P3 with no issues.

I still like Provaris as I believe their quality is a step above many of the other mods out there, and they are a great fit for many vapers, but based on my experience, I can't honestly say I would buy another. Just my :2c:

This is interesting. Tomorrow I'll go to the two largest vape shops around here, I think there are six total but only two of them sell mods larger than ego twists. And ask them what the sales breakdown is.

I know that when I'm out and about town the vast majority of people I see with a vaporizer are holding a twist or some other stick mod and a plastic clearomizer. I actually remember the last time I saw someone with a box mod and a RDA, it was two months ago. I remember so well because it was such a rare occurrence.

You should do it. I love vape tourism. I hit every shop at some point or another. Frankly its getting hard to keep up they are opening so fast. Of coarse some shops I like better then others but one thing they all have in common is everyone is super friendly. So now its mostly ex=smokers who have that feeling of having cheated death so its a nice club to be in. Most shops of say over a year are run by ex-smokers who vape but I've noticed some of the newer ones are just business. I am starting to feel like its so mainstream we are moving to the next level and going to a vape shop will be like going to Lowes or Walmart.

I see and know many vapers and I'm a gear junkie so notice gear. I tend to run in fat bald middle aged white guys so that who I know. Afew women. I have a good sized collection which I would say was bigger then most people I know but by no means the biggest. By about 90%+ I'd say fat blad middle aged white guys in CNY run 30-50w boxes with medium strength tanks (like a Subtank). I know a couple guys in there 60's running TVF4's but mostly not.

Of all the vapers I know I'm the only one that plays on the innernet about vaping. Until I joined here I had never even heard of Provari. I have never seen one in the wild. I did use one myself for abit as a loner but didn't see any benifit. so I purchased something else.

I am in the market now but only because I'm a collector. And the Kabuki tank interests me so it seems like a match.

I do have to point out the obvious here as I'm giggling. The 4 shops who only sell egos obviously haven't sold anything with more power because they don't stock them, right?

The only fair way to conduct this type of survey is to choose a shop with a varied selection. And even that could be skewed by high B&M prices. New vapers are more likely I think to go into a store so they can ask questions. An experienced vaper is probably more likely to look for the lowest price.

I would even venture to say brand new vapers aren't in the overwelming majority purchasing Provaris. That generally comes with some research, no?

Have you tried sending them into Provape for service?

I'll bet you my bottom dollar that you wore the springs out or over tightened the 510 connections.

You rarely ever hear of this in regards to a Provari (unlike a lot of mods out there) which leads me to beleive that this is due to user error.

Both are simple and cheap fixes thanks to Provapes awesome repair service.....one thats located right here in the good ol' U.S of A

Course if you dont want to do all of that Id be happy to take em off your hands for a decent price as well.

The fellowship to provari is awesome its great that your devices are amazing but your assuming others are not is deplorable. Theres some mod builders on here that whatever mod you buy if without TC blow them str8 out the water; battery life, protection, etc. Provari just hit the nail on the head when it came to those who want to feel superior and think they have something better than the next guy which at a time it was, not today, even the lower cost Chinese made mods nail their numbers and vape at higher wattage and are quality.. Their high cost mods ferget about it, that yihi chipset is an amazing chipset and offer absolute comfort you will never outgrow it..

    {MODERATED}

If that DNA200 is great then woot DNA back in it they came along and made provari 2nd class IMO great prices and any usable form you want and offered fun for us builders to perhaps make our own incomes and mods.
What has provape offered other than a bunch of crazed individuals thinking their mod better than everybody elses? When it was it was, today its not..

I like Walmart. I figured out how to do it. I drive and wife goes in Walmart and I sit in my truck and when I am almost done my second beer the wife shows up at truck to go home. Gotta love Walmart! LOL

You are joking, aren't you? If not, please explain why you think I could feel superior over anyone based on their choice of an electric device? And why the name calling?

And why is it so expensive?

I am interested in the ProVari P3, but I don't quite understand what makes it so great over other e-cigs.

Furthermore, is the ProVari p3 a mech. or regulated? It looks like a mech, but it has the digital display of a regulated.

    Does it have safety parameters?

What makes it great is the build quality, not many will argue with that, even the haters.

Safety parameters, some would say they have too many safety parameters, for me this equals piece of mind, I know that if I am half in the bag and screw an atomizer onto my ProVari, it's not going to let me fire it if it's not safe to do so.

What makes it so great over other e-cigs, that depends on what your looking for, a subjective question at best. Some people would be better served by other devices for any number of reasons.

Why is it so expensive, there's a bunch of possible reasons, labor costs, overhead, US sourced components, uncompromising quality of materials... it is what it is, either it's a worthwhile purchase to an individual or it isn't.

There are only two mods that I will or have purchased used without reservation, ProVari and REOs mods.

Stating opinions is fine, and great, and a big part of the reason we're here.

Attacking other members on their opinions or choices is absolutely not ever even close to being appropriate here. Ever.

This is the only warning. This "mine is better than yours" crap has to stop.
