I have a lot of people that want me to get them a e-cig setup after seeing my Provari in action. I am planning on getting them a Vision Spinner and a ego threaded topper to start off with. I haven't been in the ego world in a long time so I am kind of lost on these ego threaded tanks. I hear that some rock and most suck. Please help....

These people know absolutely nothing about these things so I need out of the box performance.

Thank you very much in advance!

I think I am going to go the Kanger EVOD route. Bottom coil tech makes sense. I can rebuild their spent heads in minutes. If my friends like it, they can upgrade to a vamo or provari with a Kanger pro tank and have a familiar but better experience. I still welcome any thoughts or advice :)

One thing I need some info on....

I have fried more egos than I care to think about when I was a newby running LR coils. Are these new ego twists or vision spinners capable of running 1.8ohm heads without killing the little ego boards prematurely? Should I get them the 2.4ohm heads instead and cap them at 9.6 watts? Anybody know the amp limit on the twist/spinner?

Yes, evods for sure. I just recieved my Mini Protanks, so Iwould throw them in the mix also. They look really sweet on the ego style batteries.
I resisted saying anything on another thread I saw you respond to, but have to say you look like a guy I went to HS with in Canton 72 - 74.

+1 on the Evod. Just make sure you get genuine Kanger, not knockoffs.

Kanger Products - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

and

Kanger Products

These are authorized Kanger equipment dealers. I'm sure there are other quality suppliers out there, but these two guys are outstanding.

Another option is the slightly larger MT3S. It's kinda like the Evod's big brother and holds almost 2ml of liquid, whereas the Evod holds about 1.6. They are rugged, solid performers. The heads for the Evod, the Protank and the MT3S are interchangeable.

I'll second (third? fourth??) the Evod or T3.

While I've run 1.8 ohms on Spinners with no problems, I find around 2.4 a better choice, as it leaves more room for adjusting the voltage / wattage / vape to fine tune. :2c:
