What is the best explanation for your PV...

So I am curious - what are the best lines/explanations that you have used for your PV? I usually tell them it is a nicotine inhaler, like an advanvced version of what nictrol put out a few years ago. One guy was being an ... about the "tobacco" and I told him it was a crack pipe. He shut up fast and wandered off... LOL.

I just call it an electronic cigarette. I use an xhaler and live in a medical ......... state, so calling it a personal vaporizer usually just leads to confusion. Even calling it an e-cig I still get the question "can you smoke pot in that?"

I refer to mine as my PV (Personal Vaporizor) in every conversation. When people ask me what it is I immediately tell them it was originally advertised and marketted as an electronic cigarette but there really is no comparison. I explain what it does and show them how it works. Even the term "Nicotine Inhaler" can throw people off so I don't use that one.

Your description is priceless and I'm gonna use it!!!( remembering PENIS is a piece a cake...remembering what it stands for will be difficult as I tend to go far astray when ever PENIS is involved...)

If I am in the mood to explain myself I break it down for them and give them the blow by blow. If not I say. "No it's ok it's a fake cigarette" Then stick it back in my pocket. Your average person is typically too dumbfounded to comment further.

I have to admitt I've pulled the "It's my personal crack pipe," on a few as well.

I prefer PV to e-cig. E-cig seems to carry the stigma of analogs.

I have noticed that e-cig does have a stigma to it. People are so freaked out that only smokers can deal with that term. Non-smokers usually figure it out and eventual say "isn't that one of those electronic cigarettes?" but if I lead by calling it that they get put off.

well i find it is not only, if its a smoker vs non smoker but also little town usa verse a larger city

small town in Oklahoma they really are not put of by e-cig (and some times feel talked down to with PV) .. then again the watress calls u hun sooooo

but in tulsa or okc yea i call it a PV
