in the passed 2 days i have burnt out 4 attys on my wetbox.. i cant really figure out why.. i was using two pieces of spring to connect the batterys before i got the spacers and now that i have the spacers it is destroying my attys...
What is the deal with my wetbox?

Which wetbox do you have Pine? 3.7v or 5v. If it's the 5v, hope your using higher resistance attys or they will burn out.
nope just the regular attys.. i sent an email to cloudsofvapor asking if the high res ones would be a good idea but i havent gotten a response.. i just wasnt sure becuase the low res ones cause problems with the switch
So I'm assuming your are saying it's 5v? Regular attys are too low for 5v. I'm using 3.0 ohms at 4.25v. Regular attys are usually 2.0 to 2.5 ohms.
i use regular joye 510's at 6v....they last quite a long time. whenever i get cheap and buy non joye or knockoff stuff they last a matter of hours, days at best.
well all of my attys were joye.. i just dont understand why for a week everything was fine.. then i got the battery spacers and i burnt 4 out in 2 days.. could the spacers be shorting the ground?
i dunno, take a pic of the box with the cover off....need to see whats going on in there, preferably with the batteries and spacers installed

were you always running 2 3.7v batteries before? or just one 3,7v battery? i dont see any type of voltage regulator in there, so i would assume that if you read the voltage at the atty connector you would see an unloaded voltage of 7.4 volts, and thats going to be over kill on a standard resistance atty.
You putting too much current through the switch with regular attys and the atty will run very hot and breakdown. Do the math. I=E/R and P=E*I

The reg is just visible down in the bottom. If a control pin is being used, then it should be ok. I did see these have 'new improved switches' but that was not defined, and I wonder if they are up to par.
ahh. i see it now. just under the left battery. id put a meter on the connector and measure the voltage to see what your really getting there
id say for now, pull the spacers and put the springs back in if that was working for ya. you can get a meter cheap at walmart. if you can, put your finger on one of those springs and see if they get hot or warm when you fire it.
no the springs dont seem to get hot.. unfortunately i cant be sure about testing with it right now because im out of atomizers and im using a carto now
