menthol is just a plain menthol flavoring
Smiling special menthol is mixture of coffee, menthol, caramel maybe? tobacco maybe? Dont know all those ingredients but its damn good.
i dont know its kinda tobaccoish maybe parliament and minthol mix with a hint of vanilla...... i dont know but its damn good.

I suspect the coffee is giving the chocolate flavor, because I definitely get a coffee undertone to the chocolate flavor.
Regardless, it's an entirely different animal to the straight "menthol". It probably closer to "Cool", which I was avoiding but got as a freebie. It's actually fantastic too. I like it and Smilin better than Menthol (which was my original fav). I never liked the taste of cigarettes, but the Cool suprised the heck out of me. Really tastes nothing like a cigarette to me, and I've been chain-vaping it for a couple days. Hard to put it down (now that I'm out of Smilin)

Agree...the smilin is what has been keeping me giving cartos another shot...Steve sent me the mint/menthol sampler when he fixed a messed up order and the cool is almost almost as good as the smilin..possibly the best menthol I've found on any device
I have the Smilin, Menthol, Spearmint, Mint, Nuport, Cowboy Menthol ..from V4L I am a menthol nut! I have been trying these fruits, regular tabac, and cocktails ect. I always drop right on back to my menthols, and or drop em on to the other ejuice flavor. I've ordered menthol's from other places and their ok. I have to admit so far in my menthol flavor test.
I'd have to say the Smilin and Nuport are my favs and I stock up like it's the end of the world on those LOL The smilin is a great smooth yummy vape I like for when I am at work. I switch smilin and Nuport out often. Sometime's I drop some of both in my carts. I just love em love em! I sometimes like to chill out with spearmint after dinner. The mint I am not crazy about. Their menthol is just ok with me. Now these are my taste buds

Honestly though, so far yeah smilin is the best menthol I've found..cool only barely second best..
it's particularly funny to me because I was never really a menthol smoker but those 2 flavors have given me reason to keep the KR8 in use (well a few other flavors from somewhere else in some blanks)
