Most people vape high PG like 80/20 right? That seems like the "default" mix sold by vendors.

It all depends on the juice and the vendor... some do 50/50, 60/40... I even know one vendor that does a 20/80 on the pg/vg ratio. Some juices will only come as 100%vg.
According to the polls, 50/50, followed by 70pg/30vg are most popular. I vape 70pg/30vg.

I was close, as I would have guessed that 70/30 would be the most popular, followed by 50/50, then 100% VG.
I vaped 100%Pg for years. Most of my favorite vendors offer high PG mixes. In the past year I've moved more toward a 30% VG content.
Since I've dropped from 24mg juice to 8mg and 12mg, I've also started adding my own Humco VG in a 30% mix with the 100%PG juices that I like. Yes, it cuts the flavor a bit, but the VG adds a touch of sweetness with lowered throat hit and that's a good thing. The 100% PG juices I like are heavy on flavor anyway. Adding a little Lorann's to the added VG in the mix brings it all about.

100% of the participants of my little informal study voted for a 50/50 ratio. That's with a sample size of 1 (me).
If I can choose I got 80/20 pg/vg. If it's already set I don't mind 70/30. It has to be some pretty wonderful tasting juice for me to go 50% or higher on the vg, but there are a couple I like enough for that.
Most of the juice in stores around my house are 80/20 pg/vg. I DIY and I vape 10/90 pg/vg. I like the large amounts of vapor I get with a high VG percentage.
I have vaped 70VG 30PG Perfectly fine in any atomizer I have owned in the past. It's a lot less harsh on your throat and lungs being that it has more VG. Also its a bonus that a higher VG = more vapor
depends on the vendor, and your personal preference. I prefer a higher VG level as it gives off a more visual hit. The stronger PG will give you a stronger throat hit.
It doesn't matter what is the most popular ratio of vapes. The only thing that matters is what each individual prefers. Try different vendors vapes where you can narrow your own preferences and go from there.

If I can choose, I tend to get it 50/50. Seems to work well in whatever attomizer/tank/carto I am using.
When I cant choose, I use whatever device works better with thin/thick juice
