The Vamo is a great flexible device. I have the SS one which I love - but it won't work for you if you don't like BIG mods. If you DO decide to get one check on delivery that the window on the front isn't loose. This can be a sign that the board is misaligned in the tube. Pretty well unbeatable value for money imho. :)

Congrats! I moved quickly from cig-alikes to 1000mAh Twists, then I splurged and got an Innokin I taste SVD last month. I almost got a Vamo, but the stainless steel version was out of stock everywhere I looked, so I ended up browsing through other devices while I waited for it to be re-stocked. I ended up finding the SVD and falling in love with it. It basically does exactly what the Vamo does, but because it telescopes, you can use an additional battery size in the SVD.

I still use one of my Twists (one is broken now), though and I'm thinking of getting the new VV ego (I think it's called the ego-V V2) that's also a pass through. I haven't personally used the Vamo, but it's very popular and a little cheaper than the SVD (the SVD kit has the device with two tubes, two iClear 30 clearomizers, and I think three replacement heads for the iClears for $99 usually). So if you want to try out VV/VW without spending a lot of money, I'd say go with the Vamo. If money isn't a big issue, I would say go with the device that is most aesthetically pleasing for you because most of them do basically the exact same things.
