Being the adventurous type, I like to try flavors that merely "sound" interesting. RY4 "sounds" interesting, but turns out to be "smokey, nutty" (adjectives I interpret to mean "I-have-no-idea, but-I-like-it.") I find that looking at a lot of reviews leads me into a false sense of being an expert, and I really don't want that. I'd rather think of myself as a fly-tying expert, or a javascript expert. I wan't to keep my vaping in the Zen experience catigory; just let it be what it is. Free your mind, there is no spoon.

My current favorite is TVR Mt. Do. It has a great Mountain Dew flavor, and the most amazing TH (strong, but smooth). I got it thinking it would end up in the emergency box. Try it in 100% VG at 30mg with the extra flavor-shot (or two).

Hello there...I use a k-go and the silver bullet...Because of my experience with the ry4 from Vapor Station...I feel that the other ry4's are going to be similar and I am afraid to waste my money. I know I am probably wrong but I rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the advice on the Frisco...It seems that alot of people like that. That said, I also heard almost every reviewer rave about Boba's Bounty and I thought it taste like vomit, but that's me.

NP. Better safe than sorry to me means buying sample packs before diving into large quantities. I've done that with nearly every juice vendor I've tried. Hopefully you too are doing that. When I read this, and your gripe about ry4, I immediately wonder why you are fixating on certain brands/recommended flavors. If I were you I would get samples of those flavors whose descriptions appeal to you. And even some that don't initially. You never know what you'll find right?

I do not like attys because I vape so much, I would not really want to do that.

Are you talking about dripping here? If so, you have it wrong. I chain drip-vape my LR's atty's (e-Go-A) and they tend to last months. The best part is that I can change flavors at the drop of a hat (which I do *constantly*) and if one or more is overpowering, clean out is a breeze. Not so much with carts/omizers.

Makes trying new flavors so much easier imo. My suggestion is that you would try that before passing judgement on all of the flavors you have discarded.

Food for thought ;)

Yes, I am talking about dripping...I have 4 attys and I have been buying sample packs...my last 3 purchases were all sample packs...The first 3 weeks, I was pretty much going by some of the top reviewers on you tube. I only found 2 that I really like. That is what happens to newbies who do not know anyone that vapes(I guess). My question is when you taste flavors on the attys...one flavor after another, how do you get a clear indication of one particular flavor.

Also, how do you clean a atty real fast? Do you have to boil them and wait a day or dip them in voldka and also wait a day?...I do not know exactly how this is done.

As far as steeping, I steeped about 5 juices for a few weeks and they taste just as horrendous now as they did then. I will wait and see about the other 10 that I do not like. Thanks for the info.

I don't, but actually know now which of my favorite flavors work well following each other. If I want a clear indication, I quick-clean...

My quick clean is as simple as a wipe out, reverse blowout (me or compressed air), a quick shake in isopropyl alcohol and/or water and a short stay on an incandescent light bulb. All done within 5/10 min. (bulb drying is amazingly fast- watch it though, they get HOT ;))

Perhaps my taste buds are not that refined, after 30+ years of analog damage, but steeping has never made an appreciable change in flavor for any of mine either. I don't bother. Too many taste great to me right out of the package to bother.

Though that bottle of MadVapes DK-TAB is still just sitting, waiting for me to attempt to stomach it again after a horrible first impression. Who knows? Someday?? hehe

Um, let's just have a nice discussion about RY4 and try to get along.

Anyway, I've tried three different RY4's and all three tasted different to me. The only one that wasn't too sweet was the one I got from VaporKings. I don't know where they get theirs, but it was mild and tasty.

I've tried about 20 juices now that other people here thought were just awesome, but some of them tasted terrible to me. Everyone is different. I'm going to narrow down to about 3 juices I really like, and when I want to try something; just get a 3ml bottle to try out. I hate having 30ml of something I hate.

Did I miss where you listed the equipment you are using? It seems to me that 68 out of 70 juices sucking for you might indicate more of a hardware problem.

Case in point: All the juices I love to drip suck in my eGo tank and my first try of a CE2 cartomizer.

Having said that, I personally don't care much for RY4 myself, Vapor Station or not. And since you mentioned VS, I must say that I've found several of his flavors to my liking. Particularly his VS4 and Tampa. I even like his Frisco. A very odd flavor, every time I vape it I think of feet lol.

VaporStation is one of my favorites. YMMV

OP, I'll be honest with you I've only tried a couple RY4 juices and didn't care for them. What I can tell you is that I've tried a lot of the juices everyone raves about on here and thought 99% of them sucked. I've only found a few juices that I like in the last 10 months of vaping. I just want to find one juice that I like that doesn't get discontinued (Gold Rush, Saddle Up) and is in stock when I need more and I would be happy. Although that is a lot harder than it sounds. I wouldn't worry about trying all the juices everyone says to try because if you're like me you're just wasting your money. If you find something you like stick to it because you'll probably just come back to it anyway after you spend a ton of money on juice that tastes like crap trying to find that perfect vape.

I agree with you...these e-liquids suck...I have only 2 I like out of 70...That is a pretty bad hit ratio...The thing that I do not understand is how almost to a person, the people on ecf seem to love a multiple of flavors...I find this astonishing. I was beginning to question my taste buds. The 2 juices I really like are honey-flu-nut from e-liquid express and the dulsis from my vapor store. The problem is that I cannot get the dulsis...They have been out of stock for almost a month. What can you do at that point.

Where did you get those 2 juices that you mentioned? Also, I know these juice reviews are worthless, but how else are you to supposed to get an idea about juices. I have come to one conclusion with these you tube juice reviews and that is that these people that praise all these juices are just flat-out lying. I cannot come to any other conclusion. I was told that I should buy sample packs. That makes sense. I buy 3 sample packs from 3 different vendors for a total of about 20 juices and every single one sucked, I mean they all get a zero in my opinion.

I now ordered 3 juices from bwb for about 20 dollars...everyone says this juice comes from heaven, I wish one out of the 3 is even vapable. Everyone on this forum only states good things about most juices, I am beginning to think their taste buds are dead.

At least it is good to hear one person has this problem so I know I am not alone. Thanks for your post.

To the OP, since I haven't really read through this:

For me, tobacco and I haven't mixed. I'm about to check out Vermillion River Vapors (I think that's it) for something that ISN'T ry4, 555, or the "hype tobaccos". I, too, can understand your frustration with juices in general. I'm pretty known for being really picky with flavors AND cartos. I mean, Gob forbid my juice isn't perfect  I think the hype about juices isn't a lie, but it's not the best way to consider a juice. If you've ever seen Cupcake Wars... I'd be like Florian... I just have really hypersensitive taste buds.

Right now... coffee e-liquids are the new tobacco  I am a coffee fanatic and so I bought a few coffee flavors and I'm in love with them. It's a great all-day flavor for me when I don't want a fruit, baked good, or menthol. :)

With BWB, I've heard a LOT of people love their juice, but alas I have yet to try any BWB juices. With that said, there is no possible way for me to say if it's good or not even if I DID try AND love it. Like I said, I'm so picky it hurts my head  so in a way I'm a great/horrible person to ask about juices.

The only thing that I can say is that if a juice doesn't taste great on my eGo, then I don't get it. For example, if I see a bunch of people do reviews and whatnot, but they're at 5.7V with a 2.whatever carto, it has no meaning to me. I don't even have a box mod. I have no way of "changing" the flavor to my liking. I ran into a vendor that has a lot of praise yet I could BARELY taste the juice. Then I noticed that almost everyone was using at the very least a 3.7v mod.

If you think you're being stupid or anything along those lines, don't think that. You're asking the right questions because you're trying to figure things out. I was so stubborn when I first started vaping, but ECF has brought me out of my shell a bit and also introduced me to a lot of people.

Hello there, I just bought 3 juices from bwb and I am hoping that at least one is decent, if you think you are picky about juice, I am probably mush worse...I find most of this juice to be atrocious and unvapable, yet people love it. You cannot change that fact. I understand that many people think I am stubborn or this and that. I cannot vape this juice, I think it is that bad. I have a k-go and a silver bullet...the juice taste the same on both.

If it was not for the fact that I like a couple of juices, then I would have gone back to smoking. Since there is juice out there that I like, I have to concentrate on what is in the 2 juices that I do like and go from there.

Thanks for your post.

I will let people know on what I think on the 3 juices from bwb. I know they have such a great following, but if I think the juice is horrendous, I am going to be the first to say it.

You say your not but your threads are IMO. You even say your fun in vaping is starting threads to laugh at the responses given. That is trolling but you already knew that.....
maybe he is referring to people like yu who come in and call him a troll, if he was a troll, you would be feeding off of it completly by coming in, making a snide remark and then continuing to reply to him, maybe he sounds harsh because of his language, but thats how he feels about most ry4s and is looking for some good responses about why people like it, i dont think hes a troll, but if he is, you shouldnt feed into it like you are doing :) just some friendly advice

getting rid of flavors. I do a couple of things. I use a few drops of straight vg and take a few hits and if that doesnt work I use alcohol. I pour a little 90% rubbing alcohol in my atty. Tae it off your device first and flush it out with alcohol and blow it fry. Place new flavor and dont inhale first few hits or so. Make sure all alcohol is gone. has worked for me for about 3 years. you ought to try some avejuice.com
blend4 and/or havana gold. great juice..

I've only tried one RY4 and it was a DIY mix with flavoring from Perfumer's Apprentice. Way too flowery tasting. I never even finished the 3ml I mixed to try it out.

There are plenty of us who vape only one or two flavors. You don't hear much from us because there's not much for us to say other than, "I vape this flavor."

I've tried somewhere between 50-100 flavors. I've liked many of them, but I couldn't vape them for more than a few hours before growing tired of them. Then I found Red Box from Vapors Etc. I vaped that exclusively for almost a year until I was sent a sample of RY5 (yes, 5 not 4) with one of my orders. Now that's the only flavor I vape. It tastes similar to the Red Box, but has more caramel flavor and is a much lighter colored liquid which doesn't clog my attys as badly.

Edit: And please...let's stick to the topic and stop the internet name calling on all sides. ECF is one of the few islands in the internet where we don't have to deal with this stuff regularly. Let's all strive to keep it that way.
