Might be a stupid question but what is this? 10%

I keep seeing this in some post. ​

In HTML code, the percent sign can be represented with %. My guess is that what you're supposed to see if 10%, but something whacky's happening with the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor or in the pre-display text clean-up, causing the code to display instead of the character they're supposed to represent.

You will see it with other numbers as well the % is actually the % (percentage) sign. This happened around the time of the forum software upgrade.

This bug drove me nuts for a little while until it was explained. I felt like the un-cool kid who did not understand the secret code.

Well I'm glad I wasn't alone! weeew! Thought I was loosing it. lol

Nikhil, Nope... It shows up all over the place but it's not a problem now that I know what it is. And a big thanks for all the work you have put together here on ECF. Folks like you are what makes this place such a great resource for grey matter impaired peeps like me.
