I want to avoid vaping flavored juices until there are some hard regulations in place. However I put like 5/10 drops of premade flavored juice into my 30pg/70vg base just to have a small hint of flavor in there.
    Is anyone else doing this?

Sorry if this is a stupid question i'm new to vaping (vaping for about a month now).
Sure. There are many of us that vape with no flavor at all. Neat or Nude.
I've been vaping Nude since I've joined here.

Why do you want to wait until they're banned to vape them?
(I understand your point but seems very optimistic they will be around with "hard regulations")

Anyway, I've been mixing flavors including premades since I started, although anything that lightly flavored will usually be DIY flavors chosen specifically for that (you didn't say if that 5-10 drops per tank or per bottle or what size bottle, so not sure how light you're going though). Sometimes I also use my DIY juices as flavoring, when I need to go sub-drop in a mix. Another case would be to use NET tobaccos in a mix, since my favorite maker doesn't sell extract and those that do don't save you much money even then.

On cigarette boxes it says "Smoking will kill you" or "Smoking can cause lung cancer"... And we know why that is because we know what cigs have in them.
With E-liquid flavorings I don't know what to expect. Is Mint flavor safer to inhale than Bacon and eggs flavor? Are they both as bad? That's what I meant by "hard regulations".

Also I do 5-10 drop into 2ml tank. Usually it's some sweet tasting premade juice that I add to my high VG base I just love sweet tasting vape it doesn't get old for me :)

I also would like more to be known about the differences between various juices and hardwares, although I believe existing studies show most of it is safe enough. But there's a good chance that the hard regulation mode we're going into under the FDA deeming won't result in any meaningful information, because almost nothing will be approved, especially current sweet tasty juices. I think that right now, manufacturers and vapers aren't worrying about it much because we'll be overdosing on safety soon. The irony.

Currently it is known that diketones such as diacetyl may be dangerous, at least in high quantities, but also butyric acid, often used to replace those, is more irritating. I also found one test where menthol (but what actual menthol juice?) caused some issues while pina colada did not. There are some flavorings and juices with ingredients info, but usually only for diketones. DIYer's say they make their own to know what's in it, but nothing has complete info, even if one knew enough to interpret it.

That 5-10 drops in 2 ml could be as high as 25%, so that's not incredibly subtle. I still use flavors with suspect ingredients, but shoot for a lesser amount (e.g 25%) than often recommended.
