What is up with Turkish?

My old bottles had a very strong floral, spicy smell to them, and were always a dark amber color. My new bottles are salmon pink with zero scent and the flavor is powdery... It tastes and smells NOTHING like my old bottles of Turkish.

When/why did they change the recipe? And does anyone know where I can find a Turkish just like the old version? I'm not very happy with the new recipe... Not very happy at all.

Hi Rocketpunk,

No change to the recipe! It's most likely just a difference in steep time, let me check with CS and see what I can find out.

Sounds like that's what it is, we were running a bit low on Turkish so we had to pull a batch out of steeping a little earlier than our normal. Still in our acceptable range but just on the sooner end rather than the later. Sorry for the inconvenience, I would just give it a few days steep time if possible and it should be much closer to what you are used to. Also, there are various threads around ECF about speeding up the steeping process, you may want to check out one of those if you need it in a hurry!

Ok, that's what I thought. I was hoping it was a steeping issue. The reason why I was confused was because the bulk of your juice (I think?) usually ships pre-steeped.

I'll give it a hot bath and put it back in the closet to steep for a little while longer.

I noticed the same think with Longhorn about 2 weeks ago, and 2 weeks of steeping has not helped a bit

I can guarantee that none of the recipes have changed. If you are still concerned that there may be an issue with your liquid please contact customer service and they may have additional information for you.

This happened to me too. A couple weeks helped a little but I think it needs more like a month (at least) to come around to being even close to the sample I had.

I got the same issue too with my sample menthol pack 3 weeks ago. 4 different menthol flavors smell & taste floral & spicy at the same time and don't taste any menthol at all. B4 buying Halo Trition kit & the juice, i read & saw bunch of video how good their juice are and once I try all the juice & very disappointing 4 out of 6 juice taste very floral and no Menthol. HX3 was the worse, Menthol was 2nd worse, Mystic, & Cool mist.

I do like the Sub Zero & Kringles curse.

See, the thing is, I work for a B&M who re-sells Goodcat LLC wholesale, and we got our last batch from them almost three weeks ago, and not much has changed, steepwise. It still looks salmon pink with little to no smell. Customers who always got Turkish asked us why it tastes and looks different lately.

Oh, well, I'm not upset or anything. Just curious.

The last 30 ml bottle that I got dated May of this year is fine, no different than the previous ones.

Same here, but with Halo's increased sales it would not surprise me if the ejuices are coming in a bit on the "fresh" side. A little steeping will usually do even Halo juices a bit of good.

I just received a sample package from Halo and am looking forward to trying them. Do they come already to vape or do I need to steep?
