Vertigo typically occurs when staring up to great heights (like standing outside and staring at the sky)... It seems to be accompanied by a sickly, like about to fall off the empire state building dizzy feeling. I have this, and I don't think it's a coincidence that I have a pretty serious issue with heights (yet I ski like a madman? ...guess some things are more important than fear).

What you have sounds like an allergic reaction to what you're vaping, or some kind of gas leak in your house... You should look into it.

I had it once. Couldn't stand up without holding on to the wall. Made me sick to my stomache. It would come and go throughout the day. Lasted for about 3-4 days. One of the most horrible feelings I have felt. No way to control it other than to lay down and even then, when the dizziness hit, it wasn't fun. The whole world was spinning.
Never did find out what caused it. The docs checked my ears and found nothing.
Good Luck.

Vertigo can come from many causes. Most benign, but sometimes can be a sign of a serious illness. I don't know if the OP was serious or joking, but I would get it checked out if it persists or worsens. I'm a physician and have seen many patients with vertigo. Again, most were benign and self limiting, but it can be a serious issue.

Don't ignore it.

I had my FIRST bout with vertigo a month ago. Lasted 7 straight days. No reason found. On the 7th day, my PCP gave me a shot of toradol. Within an hour, all symptoms were gone. CT showed nothing wrong.

Since then, Ive done my research. PG toxicity symptom is vertigo. Im not sure if its coincidence or if my heavy vaping caused it but Ive vaped since june 2009 w/out issues and vaped during the vertigo episode AND since without any problems. It WAS horrible, but DEF better than lung cancer ;)
