have any of you guys experienced dizziness or vertigo from not smoking analogs? I know yeah...bizarre question. To explain, I had neck surgery on Nov 3rd, Have not had a smoke since then....7 days after surgery and no smoking....dizzy, vertigo. Used surgery to quit smoking but bought...omg, I'm hiding around a corner peeking out when I say...a blu and started vaping on Nov17! lmao..but it is perfect for me so no bashing.(Omg of nic.) but I'm dizzy as ...., so I thought maybe maybe it's the nic going completely out of my system. anyone else spinning out? Jeeze it's been over a month now. TIA.

Oh and one more question...specially for the chicklettes....did your face break out? JimminyfreakingChrissmas.........this sucks and I look more haggard than when I smoked. Or maybe it's just the stress from the surgery. who knows but I feel uglier than hen .....

I know dizziness can be a withdrawal effect, but true vertigo would probably be left over from your surgery. At least I would think so...??? I've developed vertigo in the past just from twisting my neck wrong from drying my hair, and it lasted for days! I got a prescription from my doctor for it, because it was such an intense spinning that made me throw up. I can only imagine what neck surgery would do!

As for the face break-outs, I never heard of that until I came to this forum. Guess I've been lucky!

Chrissie, Boy if I had a quarter for everytime this questions been asked. To answer....I used my surgery as the catalyst to get the nic out of my system. I was looped up on pain meds for a good solid 5 days, I didnt want to smoke. And I knew that smoking after this surgery would greatly hinder my healing and my bone fusion. Let me tell ya, 30 + years of smoking...since I was uh 13 (started smoking the butts out of my parents ashtrays). I wasnt a heavy smoker...though I could be in social settings coupled with my red vino. Anyhoo..........I smoked or should I say attempted to smoke a analog day 6 after surgery, twas horrible. then a friend came to visit me 2 weeks post op with this ecig. That was it. I knew that I could get thru the hand mouth part with this device as the nic was already out of my system.

Just wondering if neck surgery could be playing a part in the vertigo? I have a herniated disc from a car accident that happened last December and have been going to physical therapy since then. I've been having occassional vertigo since that time and wondered if it might have been an inner ear thing...then lo and behold, a couple of weeks ago I went to my physical therapist and told her that I was experiencing vertigo. She said that it might be related to the disc injury, she did a simple test by having me lay back and turned my head to the right and left and followed my eye movement. Yep, it was related to the neck and certain positions in the neck. She did some manual manipulation and viola! No more vertigo.
Whether from vaping or neck, hope the vertigo subsides quickly for you :).

Thanks ya'll for the feedback. Going on four weeks for this dizzyism. Neemy, i've not thrown up, but i'm so off kilter...just a weird sensation to be so off balance and not know which way is up. I have not been sick with sinus etc, but thats not to say that I don't have some inner ear thing going on that I"m not privey too. I look horrible...and well the weight gain adds to the uglier than hen .... look. lmao.....sigh.

LMrasch....yep, I've read that neck/spine issues can cause vertigo....but it's just so strange cuz i never had this issue until after surgery. So yes I think this is part of it. I just started sleeping on my side, this seems to have helped. I just want to be able to pick up something off the floor or pet my cats with out feeling like i'm falling over. I'm supposed to get into pt in a month...depending on if my left arm is not gaining strength. Looking back. I'm shocked with the stress of hickup of this surgery than I'm not smoking 3 packs a day. this too shall pass.

That makes lots of sense Cmg & I can so understand now why you are going with the 0mg nic :) Well done.

As Imrasch & others have said, if the nicotine is already out of your system, the vertigo etc could well be due to your neck problems. Really hope you are feeling better soon.
