Hahah! 2 months into vaping and i haven't break even yet. and i'm still thinking of a box mod haha!!~ so i think thats perfectly normal. Check out my sig banner and the pvs i own below it to see what i meant xD.

e-power is a pretty good choice but something comparable would be super-tanker.
in fact if u wouldn't mind holding a dong in hand, i'd say skip all the eGo style pv and go straight for a vv tube mod. something like a provari or a lavatube or a infinity pro. cost is definitely much higher but my bet is u'll love them.

welcome to ecf and the vaping family.

Vape on~

A simple setup is an eGo kit with Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers.

For a non-proprietary setup, I suggest an Indulgence V3 from elitevaporworks.com. Can be run at different voltages depending on the batteries you use. Cheaper in the long run versus the eGo's. If you blow an eGo battery, it'll cost you about $17 or more to replace. With the Indulgence, a battery replacement is about $5 or a tad higher depending on the brand and voltage. Check it out here....Mods. After using so many big battery mods, I'm really impressed with it. It's all mechanical so that's a plus as well.

You managed to find something I've never heard of. It looks great, and a little cheaper than the silver bullet.

Nice.

Ok, so today I have two weeks analog free!! woot woot!! Im doing great with my vapor4life products. I have no cravings and (for the most part) perfectly content. Sooooo why am I already looking to upgrade??? I am eyeballing the ego.

If you like the V4L batteries at 3.7v, you may be disappointed in an EGo because it operates at a lower, cooler voltage. I would suggest that you check out the Riva from Liberty Flights as it's 3.7v. It's my new favorite ecig!

I also 2nd hairball's suggestion. Nothing like a mechanical PV and the price on this one is great. A huge plus is hairball owns and is impressed with it. Maybe next time there's a vapefest or a get together in your area a good idea to go and see what others are using IMHO.
Good Luck, Vapoor.
P.S. No...you're not crazy but very funny :D

I have been analog free for just over 3 weeks now...and late last night I put in the order for the kgo :) I had the 808's, bought an extra kit at black friday sales, then won a joye 510 that I received Monday. And already I am ordering something different! After all the reviews (on youtube and on this site) I think I will love it. Plus I went for something fun and ordered pink (I just want something a lil different than black/white lol).

It seems that happens to everyone, you start off with a real cig type model then you get your tastebuds back and crave more, better flavour, and everyone raves about the ego, so you cant resist trying it too. It happened to me also within 2 weeks. I highly recommend getting yourself a few different cartomizers with an ego kit so you can find the one that is right for you. If you are like me you will choose the Echo-e cartomizers, so easy to refil and looks great on your ego battery.

You have done extremely well to give up the cigarettes, congratulations!
Do be careful though that you do not swap one addiction for another.
You may find that to stay away from cigarettes that you need to increase the power of your e-Cig, but remember why you gave up cigarettes.
Personally, I'm happy using my e-Cig, I like the relaxation it gives me, but in a way I am still addicted (to the e-Cig and its nicotine).
The e-Cig offers a way to gradually reduce the nicotine content (or the power of the e-Cig) so that eventually you will be vaping 0% nicotine-content e-juice.
I don't plan on going to 0% in the near future, but do you? Be aware that if you keep upping the strength of your e-Cig it will still be an addiction of sorts.
Once again, congratulations on making it this far, you have taken a great first step, keep off the cigarettes.

I've been vaping a month now and I LOVE my Kgo!! If you call Hoosier with any questions, he is glad to help, plus he responds to emails fast.

By the way, the second day I started vaping, I visited Vapor 4 Life's store. All they have is those skinny e-cigs with the pre-filled cartridges. And HUGE bottles of juices. When you buy your juices, buy the tiniest bottles you can, in case you don't like them.

I have the KGo as well and it is a very good buy, those batteries last forever, so it seems, they carry good voltage and vape steady right to the end.

If you aren't scared of a box mod then check out reosmods.com. I have the Grand and my wife has the mini. They are very easy to use and very low maintenance plus you get to choose from a wide variety of body and door colors. Look for the Reo subforum if you have more questions or want to see some pics. You can't go wrong with a Reo.

Oh yeah, congrats on 2 weeks!

Congratz charady2 and kjay for 2 and 3 weeks on stopping smoking! The first month can be the hardest, some spend many months trying to stop. Somewhere in this next month, your taste will start to come back. What tasted good before may be bad, and vice versa. Get lotsa small bottles of juice, and give it a while. Drink more water than you usually do. Investigate differing PG to VG ratios in your juice.

Some of the most important things early on, is to keep a working backup in place. Make sure you can survive one battery failure (or you'll smoke). Make sure you have a spare atty/carto (or you'll smoke). What will probably work the best long-term is finding a device/form factor/charging setup/appearance/performance that you like, and finding juice that works for you. Get familiar with any existing PV you have before just going "oooh, shiny" on a new one.

Examine your lifestyle and (former!) smoking habits, that can help or hinder your vaping gear. Spend a lot of time in a vehicle? Something that can plug straight into cig lighter of your vehicle can help a lot. Spend a lot of time away from computer/AC outlet/power source? Lots of battery can be good. Just need to grab a puff now and then? A physically small PV may be good for you. If you need it to look and taste exactly like $my_cigarette it could be a long search, because it never will.

Click on the "Live Chat" at the top of the web page, you can often get faster answers.

Count up the money you spent on smoking, and in a few months you can afford anything you want.

I see a couple people saying that an Ego isn't 3.7V... The manual for my eGo says that "The eGo is powered by a 3.7 volt 630mAH battery."

Maybe I'm wrong, but just throwing it out there....

it is 3.7 volt, but under load it will drop depending on what resistant carto used, the K-Go comes off the charger at 4.2 volts, i checked mine when they came in and it was 4.2 volts on the nose and it's a 1100 mAH battery
