eeek! i guess it is. kinda odd that when i post about it that weird page happened though

since Firefox upgraded to version 13 they twisted the new tab now it does no open a blank page but a page with a screen shot of all the places you have been recently, is that what you are talking about ?

i'm not real thrilled with FF 13 i never really liked that thumbnail feature in chrome and opera

Well, I did just upgrade to FF13 so that is most likely my issue too.

I'm thinking it is mostly windows related. I'm not experiencing much performance difference in Fx13 on Linux. Hopefully the mozilla devs will get on it and make a quick patch.

I have no issues until now , i just hate the the new tab showing my history , of course i have my own way to use the web and the links

there is a way to turn that feature off - caught a glimpse of the instructions after the upgrade .....

there should be a way, i did it (i think )on Chrome long time ago, I just have to do a search now for FF

Just out of curiosity I wonder if this helps overall speed in Fx13. people are complaining all over teh inetwebz about Fx13 being slower.

edit - don't see much of a difference and i turned it off by going to about:config

I haven't noticed any slowdown at all, in general, since the upgrade. Aside from a couple of cosmetic things, the only changes I've noticed are the new tab page (which I hate, thanks for the tip Lis) and the way the pages scroll when I use my mouse wheel (which I hate even more) . . . I've had to up the sensitivity on my mouse to the max to get back my old page scrolling capacity. Page loads and general browsing speed is about the same for me as it was before

I just found out how to turn that off a few minutes ago and I am sure that's not the reason for the lags that we may see from time to time when surfing the web

Oh ! Thank you for mentioning about the scrolling ! I have a fairly new mouse & thought it was freaking out on me !
I didn't know a FF upgrade could affect how a mouse works !

But I don't see the tab thing y'all are talking about ?
