My favorites tanks are the pyrex IBTanked cartotanks. IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!

These are a high quality yet inexpensive cartotank. I have seven currently, and use a different flavor in each one. I've not used the Kanger Protank, but I was extremely disappointed in the other string-wicked delivery devices (clearomizers, Vivi-Nova, etc) I've tried due to inconsistancy, having leaking issues, being position dependent to work properly, and to mute most flavors.

Once over the slight learning curve of cartotanks, I'm getting great consistancy and flavor, have never had a leaking tank, and they are not position dependent.

Cartotanks... Kir Fanis tanks in particular... (don't mind the Fluid Flask on the right :p)

They hold a good amount, never need to move the carto unless you're setting it up the 1st time or getting rid of an old one, easy filling, and the hole size / o-rings have just the perfect tension on cartos.

My collection from Best to Worst

Texas Tuff Tank
iClear 30
Kanger Evod
CE4 Clearomizer
VapeOnly BCC
Kanger Protank
Vivi Nova

And the Vivi Nova will continue to drop on the list as I add equipment. I might even add "pouring juice into my mouth and running a lighter over my tongue" higher on the list than the Vivi Nova.

Cartotank cons: not so hard

RBA cons: much harder

:p
On a more serious note...

Cartotanks have a lesser learning curve. Less complex to learn the methodology required to be successful. Learn how to properly fill the carto and the tank, learn the proper vaping technique, and you are good to go.

RBA's do not magically work right out of the box. You will need to read up on the different methods of rolling a piece of stainless steel mesh into a wick small enough to fit into a very tiny hole the size of a small drill bit, how much if any oxidizing of the wick to do, how to wrap a proper coil, figure out what materials you will need...mini torch, multimeter, what gauge mesh and wire to use, etc. Watch hours of how-to videos. How to pulse the coil. Make many wicks and coils before you get the right combination. Learn how to use your multimeter. Know the importance of ohms and battery voltage. Have hours of free time to mess with your RBA. Learn how to deal with frustration.

Hey everyone - where do you get all of this stuff?

Bit of info on my progress - I basically just use Apollo. From them I have a basic CE4 clearo, a Vivi Nova, and just yesterday I got the huge Titan clearp. I have to say I am very disappointed with the latter two. The Vivi Nova came with three different atomizer heads (?) which I suppose have different ohm levels. The first one it came attached with was so weak I thought the damn thing was defective. I got almost no vapor. The second one was mildly better, but still way too weak with almost no throat-hit. The third one was strong and basically adequate, but then every third hit or so it made the fluid taste like it was being fried. Not good.

The Titan is awesome because it holds 6mg but other than that it's weak as hell. It vapes alright - just alright - for five or six hits, then dulls to nothing. I wish it worked because I want a big tank that hits hard - good TH and flavor.

The basic, simple CE4 clearo is perfectly fine. I like it, except it's tiny. I have to refill it all the time, and when I go out I want something bigger so I don't have to do that.

Can someone make a suggestion or two AND tell me where I can get the things? Oh, and they should be compatible with apollo eGo batteries. Thanks!
