So, April 26th was when I got into vaping. I started with 2 eGo twists (one 650mah, one 1,100mah) , and for delivery, I bought a pack of 5 boge cartos, and an EVOD BCC.

I absolutely did NOT like the cartos. I tried nearly every method of filling them up, and nothing about them was enjoyable to me. Needless to say, I quickly discovered I just don't like em.

The EVOD I loved, and still do.

So far, I've tried:

1) Cartos. (As mentioned, didn't care for em)

2) EVOD BCC (I like it very much, and I'm currently using 2 in my daily rotation. The only thing I don't like about them, is it seems sometimes the air holes get clogged or something, and it gets really hard to get a draw. Usually I just take em apart, clean em w/ hot water, and if worse comes to worse, I use an old tooth brush to get in the air holes. That usually does the trick).

3) Kanger Pro Tank (Also in my daily rotation. I like it very much. The cons, however, are that it uses up more e-liquid than the EVOD, and I really don't care for the metallic taste I get from it)

4) Joye 510 Dripping atomizer (Works better than the cartos did, but I really don't see myself ever using it in the daily rotation. I bought it as an easier method to test out new e-juices, and for that it serves its purpose well. beyond that, I just don't think it is for me)

So basically, from my brief experimentation, it seems that I for daily purposes, I enjoy the clearos/tanks , and don't care much for dripping atomizers/cartos.

With that in mind, I was wondering if maybe you guys can help steer me in the direction of One or Two new delivery mechanisms I can try out.

The EVOD BCC and Kanger Pro Tank are both Bottom coil, so I was thinking of maybe trying out a top coil device. Any recommendations?

I'm basically looking for opinions on a good clearo and/or tank for the ego-twist.

What clearos/tanks do YOU guys use on your twists? What would you suggest?

For a larger top coil tank you may want to try the SmokTech Titan: SMOK TiTaN™ Clearo Modular Tank : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

The Vision CE4 (Stardust) Replaceable is also good for a smaller capacity top coil clearo: GV Vision Replaceable Stardust™ : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

As already mentioned, the Vivi Novas are also good. All of these are pretty much leak proof. Thicker juices may not work as well with top coils. Of all the top coils I've tried, the Titan is probably my favorite with a new coil. Best if coils are dry burned after each tankful.

I am a creature of habit. Don't have anything fancy. Getting the nic is all I care about. I have numerous sizes of twists and spinners. I like Vision V3s(ce5), Vivi Nova minis, 1 Kanger Protank, and XXL Boge type cartos(not so much any more) on my bats. They have gotten me by for almost a year now.

I like cinnamon based vapes so I got into carto tanks early on (after melting clearos and a Vivi Nova). That is still my preferred method. It takes a little practice to learn how to fill cartos, but once you get that down all you have to do is keep filling the tank. I have several in rotation so the cartos last a long time. I recently got a Protank, and while it gets points for ease of use, I still like the taste of my carto tanks better. I think I am in the minority though.

I am the SAME way. I do not have the funds nor the time to get into trying a bunch of stuff. If I something that works, I like to stay there :)

That is why I created this thread.....I wanted to hear what others have found to work best for them, so I have a point of reference.

The evod bcc's are great.....the pro tank is wonderful, except for the deal breaking nasty metallic taste I'm getting right now (I will clean it with white vinegar tomorrow and cross my fingers).

Thanks everyone for your responses :) I haven't even read them all yet, I'm going to do that now :)

Buy some 32g kanthal wire and some silica/cotton wick and you can make unlimited coils for novas/protank/evod ect.

Sent from my HTC VLE_U

Yea, Ive seen a few videos on rebuilding the coils/wicks for the evod/pro tank....and to me they look extremely simple. I'm sure I won't have any problem with that.

The reason I haven't already done that, is because the heads are so darn cheap. I'm sure I'll get around to it sometime. I've only retired one head so far, and I didn't throw it out, I put it in a empty pill bottle where I'll put the others one for future tampering with.

However, I NEED to get the nasty taste out of my pro tank before I can enjoy it. It seems to have gotten worse. I'm nearly positive it is either the metal drip tip, or an issue with the current atomizer head I have in there, I'll play around with it more tomorrow when I have some more free time.

So many folks seem to love the Vision Vivi Nova Minis. Mine was DOA. I got maybe ten minutes out of it and it hasn't worked since. I've taken the thing apart over and over...sometimes can get it to work for a couple minutes, but then it's dead again. POS in my opinion.

I've also tried CE7s and Kanger T2s. Of my two CE7s, one had a manufacturing defect that was repairable, but it was useless until I got it fixed. However both are prone to leaks and gurgling hits. Plus I don't like the tiny short wick that requires you to tip the thing to wet it.

The ONLY clearo that has been 100% issue-free for me is the T2. These are inexpensive, utterly reliable, and the heads are easily replaced. My only criticism of the T2 is that my RBA gives better flavor.

I still consider myself a newbie, so others will probably find fault with my opinions. Still, this has been my experience so far.

I heard to soak it (pro tank) in 100 proof vodka. To get the taste out. I never had that taste with mine.
