Too bad the lavatube doesnt work.....Doesn't do what it claims to do....will not hold the voltage...continually drops as battery weakens.......SAVE FOR PROVARI......I have them both....the Provari works.....

Do you have a LT or are you just posting what other people say?

Because I have a LT and Mine holds Voltage.

I think you got him on that one. Mine holds voltage, too. I just like my Provari better, though, but that's just a personal preference, not a statement of fact that one is better than the other.

Oh, and to get back on point, I vape at anywhere from 7.6 watts to about 9.5, depending on the juice and whether I'm using a SC or DC carto tank.

Just trying to find out if he is Actually seeing this or not and How Much Voltage drop he is referring to.

Not saying that it can't happen. And I'm not saying that there can't be a problem with a person LT and or the Batteries that came with it.

But on mine, using AW IMR or AW IC Batteries, I'm getting the Output Voltage that is selected with 2.6~2.8 ohm CE2's

No...you "didnt get me at all"....in my op, I said "I have them both"....I meant it....Even though with the "built in meter" it "says" you are getting the "dialed in voltage", after a few vapes check it again.....What you "originally dialed in" will now read "lower" then what you " originally set it at"....It is because the circuitry will "not" hold the voltage and constantly drops....You hardly get any "consistency" when you use it.......Get a "provari" and forget all that.....It provides the same voltage from beginning of battery to end of battery.......Dont believe me...head over to "any" forum where the LT is discussed and find out what "everyone" else is saying about it...Although it looked great "on paper" and held "great promise for the price", it turned out to be a big disappointment....SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! get a device that works as advertised......Stop "whistling" in the cemetary trying to convince yourself that "everything is OK" when it isn't......Stop saying "it holds voltage" when it "does not"......Am I clear NOW?
A very common error is not using an external metering device....The LT will tell you one thing but the "external meter" will tell you something different...The meter doesn't lie or have any loyalties to one brand or the other......
Sure, for the price the LT is a good way to get introduced to VV vaping....My beef is that it doesn't deliver as promised....

Interesting. I seem to have a preference for much lower voltages than most here. with CE2 Clearomizers 2.4-2.7 Ohm I'm vaping between 3.4 and 4.0 volts. If I'm calculating correctly that means that I am vaping between 4.6 and 6.4 Watts. Any higher and I get a burned taste with these cartos on all my juices. It could be the cartos or the juices. Within that range I can make one juice taste totally different. For example the flue cured tobacco can go from sweet tobacco to toasted marshmallow.
