Hi.

I started with a Kanger Evod, which was great. But noticed I was charging the batteries too often.

So I just got a Vamo V5 and a Protank 2. Still playing with the setting on the new mod. I watch YouTube for all that. Wonderful resource.

I've also learned to dry burn the coils. That helps a lot.

Now I realize I have 2.2 ohm coils, and ordered 1.8's to rebuild. Will I still be able to use those? So much for not catching the ohms on the coil box.

So far I love it though.

Yes you can use 1.8 ohm coils.

You can rebuild any pro tank coils to what ever ohms your looking for.

Here is a vid from rip for rebuilding micro coils which is best IMO.

I build 30 guage with 7/8 wraps around 1/16 bit at 1.8ohms the same way.

you could rebuild your 2.2's to 1.8. the ohms rating is for the coil in side. that is what you are rebuilding, so you can rebuild it to whatever you want!
