I am looking for the longest lasting atomizer for the Joye 510. Are there any that last longer and if so how much longer and where can I get them?

Unfortunately my experience with 510 attys tells me there is no definite lifetime. Or else the lifetime is somewhere between a day and 2 months. That said, the only pattern I can come up wiith, which is on the face silly, is color. I've had terrible luck with black attys bought in bulk from TW. But then I've had great luck with the gold attys bought in bulk from TW! Go figure. The longest ones I've had were blue from e-smokytreats.com. They are still going more than 2 months, although they are now getting weaker. Silver one just died after about 7 weeks. Blacks, consistently, are dying far quicker...but then this may be not the attys, but my own vaping demands...and I can be pretty demanding!

These are all supposedly Joye 510 attys. There are a bunch of knockoffs out there, and are NOT Joye brand, but I don't know their track record. Real Joye's should be the best. TW's are relabeled "Titan", but they are supposed to be Joye in origin. When I get a few more bucks, I'm going to try some from Heaven's Gifts. They are Joye, and at a great price. Eastmall has them for about $6, but I don't know their record.

Maybe I got a "bad batch". Maybe the quality control on even Joye products is bad. Maybe the technology is too new to make it consistent. Maybe we just aren't taking the "disposable" label seriously in our wishes to have stable lifelong vaping technology. Regardless, the 510 is certainly a good PV, which can really hit well and vape like mad. Certainly the best I've bought or tried, by far. But so far there does not seem to be a consistent pattern on the atty lifetimes.

BTW, the mega batts from TW totally rock! Way better than the regular batts.

I have been using the ones from eastmall and I have to say there is no real pinpoint time either. I guess it depends on the liquid too. Straight tobacco flavored liquid in an atty seems to prolong its life. Using the candy sweet flavors gunk it up a bit. I did try the cleaning using crest pro health and that seems to reawaken what were once dead attys.
The problem with that is the taste is hard to get rid of so you can only use the strong flavors after that.

Recently I ordered the 8 disposable kits from madvapes for 68 dollars shipped. I have been using this particular atty and battery (off and on with the other batteries) for about a week and it is still going strong. I don't know if it means anything, but this atty only has one hole.

I've haven't had a 510 atty fail on me yet. Even the originals I got with my first 510 kit are still going strong, and that was about 4 months ago.

The only bad 510 atty I have was from TW. It's the one with the wide gold band. It's really airy and doesn't deliver half the vapor my thin banned 510 attys do.

My best 510 atty and most used is the scorpion edition from Dietsmokes. It has a wide red band on it. It's a monster. Not sure what the difference is between that and my other ones...could just be luck of the draw.

As it turns out, I think my negative experience with TW attys has been my own inexperience with how to use them and care for them. Its clear now I was running them too hot with too thick of a juice, and starving the heater too much with filler than was not wicking well enough. I also made the mistake, or took the chance, and pulled the wick out of a couple in an effort to unclog them when PGA soaks did nothing.

Now I use alcohol to thin the juice a little, which makes a big difference (I use VG-only juices). I've started using the slug auto-drip mod by eclipse, which makes a HUGE difference...:thumbs::thumbs:. Genius!! I'm using facial sponge, not blue foam, but it still works great! And someone else here suggested a Crest Pro-Health soak, which completely brought back two sluggish attys.:thumbs::thumbs:

In other words, all issues that I had thought were "bad attys" were actually from my own actions, not the attys. The 30+ attys I have now still unopened look like they will last many many months now. If even with all these tricks I have some that die quickly, I will report back. In this house anyway, it seems there was actually more bad atty usage than actual bad attys.
