Im curious what other Zen lovers like to wrap on their gennys.
I know 32g kanthal is suggested, but I just dont feel like Im getting near as good a vape with the higher ohms of 32gauge than when I wrap with 28 or even 30gauge. (This is all on a Zen 2 setup, Gun Metal Altus)
Ive been lately doing a 28gauge Kanthal, on 400mesh, 3/4wrap, which on my wick usually meters out to .8-.9ohms, thereabouts. juice dependant I also like to go a little higher and add another wrap. I also will use 30gauge and shoot for the same resistance, generall 2/3 or 3/4wraps with the 30gauge. Right now Ive got a 3/4wrap of 28gauge on 400mesh, vaping 80% VG juice, and its wicking like a beast, the flavor is intense and the vape is slightly warm, and I dont need to tell you that the vapor is ridiculously abundant.
So how about all you folks out there?
What kind of mesh do you like? Do you like a real skinny wick, or a wick as big as the hole will take? real tight? real loose?
What kind of wire do you use? Wraps?
