What kind of coils does the Protank 2 clone from Fasttech use?

I ordered these cheap clones as backups, one for me and another for my sis. So I get them today with my Vamo 5 and some other stuff, and I notice that my Kanger Evod coils don't work with it, they sit up too high. In the section where it says replacement heating cores, it links to fastech heating cores that say they are compatible with Evod and Protank atomizers. I didn't order any fasttech cores because I already have a bunch of Kanger protank cores that aren't that much more expensive than the fastech ones, which also have reviews of them being oily.

So does anyone know exactly what type of heating cores fit these cheap clones and where in the states I can buy them without waiting a month from fasttech to get? Or is it that you can use a Fastech "Evod" heating cores in your Evod/Protank but not regular Kanger Evod cores in their Protank clone because of the way they sit? Or is there anyway to modify their Protank to accept regular Kanger Evod cores?

Link to their Protank clone:

$4.75 Protank-2 BCC Clearomizer (3.5mL) - black / 2.4ohm / removable drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Link to the heating cores they accept:

$4.64 EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Atomizer Heating Core (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.4

One of the comments there says they had to Dremel out the inner stem to fit authentic Kanger heads, so maybe the T3S style would fit. (T3S heads will generally work in PT, but not the other way around. The washer looking part of the head is a smaller diameter on them, so they'll go down in the PT base, where the bigger PT washer won't fit down in the T3S.)

But others say PT or Evod heads...

QC and true "cloning" can always be a bit hit and miss :(

Well I won't be ordering their coils for it. I assume the replacement coils are the same ones that's what in it right now, and it's been an hour of me huffing on it off and on, and the core still keeps putting out this oily, burnt taste. It's too bad too because it has kind of a nice airy draw with lot's of vapor, so if I could have put my Kangers in it, I think it would have been a winner for $5. Maybe I could try and rebuild the coil and wick....How do these heating cores and tank get such a high rating from reviews on Fasttech when they are basically worthless?

How's Fasttech return policy? Or for just $10, should I just chock it up as a live and learn experience?

Fast tech has a very good return policy. For DOA's. Seeing as how you have tried it out, idk.
Me, I would clean it out, use it, pitch it..

I'm guessing they would refund just about anything if you threatened to dispute the charge with you credit card company.

But I guess I'll keep them, I have an authentic PT2 that has a cracked tank and the coil base fits the FT clone. Works pretty good together, slightly more airy but a lot more vapor.
