I agree with the Sarge. I bought an ounce of menthol crystals two years ago for a few bucks and still have half of them left. A few pinches into your juice will give you all the menthol taste you can stand. You can over do it and melt your mouth, but the mix is easily adjustable and I have found that the crystals dissolve in most variations of VG/PG with ease.
I use Mister Eliquid exclusively for their menthol which is great straight up vaping, adding to flavors and their ice line is good

Well here you go then--a good chance to start with an easy project! It really is much simpler than you might imagine.
Order one ounce of crystals from your vendor of choice (or here): Menthol Crystals Mentha Arvensis USP Grade 100 Pure 1 Ounce to 9 Pounds | eBay
Order some Propylene Glycol from your vendor of choice (or here): Pure Propylene Glycol PG USP Grade Soaps Lotions Humidors Eliquid | eBay
You will need a bottle to mix in (glass is best)
You also need access to a scale (I reload ammo so I use my reloading scale)
Stop by any farm store and grab a few syringes in various sizes (a 25 or 30 and a 3 to 5 ML will suffice--snag a couple of each as they are cheap!) Also get a couple 12 ga needle tips while you are there. You can file/sand the tips down to get rid of the pointy parts for safety. An emery board, a piece of sandpaper or a small file will do the trick. You can get a small bag full of syringes and tips for under $20
Add 1 gram of crystals to the bottle--add 10 ML of PG to the bottle...shake. Hold under warm running water for a few minutes shaking occasionally to warm the liquid until the crystals dissolve. You can let it sit under a desk lamp for 5 or 10 minutes and that will also accomplish the same thing.
Now you have a "10% solution" of Menthol liquid.
Add this at the rate of 5% for starters..less if you just want a bare hint of Menthol..more if you want a blast. Beware! Too much will bite you!
I mix this up in a 30 ml bottle..3 grams of crystals in 30 ml of PG and it lasts months. One ounce of crystals should last you quite a while.

Since you said cool menthol after taste my suggestion may or may not be helpful. Virgin Vapor has one called Mint Tingle. For me, it tastes like sweet mint on the inhale with menthol on the exhale. It reminds me of my favorite spearmint gum. Since I used to smoke menthol cigs, it serves me well when I get that craving for one. I vape their pg free option at 6 mg but they also offer it at 50/50 pg/vg. Of course, taste is subjective so if this sounds interesting check it out.
